MLB Baseball Predictions Boston Red Sox Vs NY Yankees Odds

MLB Odds – Boston Red Sox To Continue Slump Against New York Yankees

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

Baseball Sports Betting

Our MLB odds are always posted at Bookmaker Sportsbook, and today, we’re taking a look at another great FOX Saturday Baseball clash. The New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox will kick off yet another great duel between bitter AL East rivals on Saturday.

New York Yankees Gambling Lines VS Boston Red Sox Picks

MLB Betting Online:

The New York Yankees (6-6, -$259) and the Boston Red Sox (4-8, -$450) are set to tango on Saturday, April 21st at 4:05 ET from Fenway Park in Boston, MA. We’re breaking down the MLB odds for this clash, which can be seen live on FOX.

Fenway Park turns 100 years old on Friday night, just in time for the Yankees to come to town to take on their hated rivals from Beantown. That being said, this clash on the MLB betting odds a day later could be ugly for the hosts.

Boston just hasn’t looked good this year at in dropping eight of its first 12 games, and it is getting absolutely nothing out of its pitching. The team has an ERA over a touchdown this year, and part of the problem has been the performance of Felix Doubront, the man that is going to be on the bump come Saturday afternoon.

Doubront might turn into a good pitcher at some point down the line, but at just 24 years old, he still looks a bit lost on the mound. This year, the Venezuelan has a 5.40 ERA in his 10.0 innings of work, and batters are hitting .310 against him. The team has won both of his starts, making him the only starting pitcher on the staff to have a positive money mark on the year (+$200); but he hasn’t earned the win in either game.

That being said, when we break down the MLB gambling odds in this one, we don’t see a lot out of Freddy Garcia either. He is the hurler that is projected to get the ball from Manager Joe Girardi in this one. Garcia knows that he is pitching for his spot in the rotation and that at this point, he has to be considered the odd man out when Michael Pineda is ready to come off of the DL. He is 0-1 with a 6.97 ERA this year, and his velocity is way down with the radar gun rarely hitting 90 MPH.

MLB Betting Pick – With both of these pitchers being shaky at best, we expect to see a lot of runs on Saturday. If that’s the case, we trust the New York bullpen, and we trust names like Mark Teixeira, Alex Rodriguez, and Derek Jeter a heck of a lot more than the guys that the Sox are throwing out there. Jacoby Ellsbury and Carl Crawford are still out, and Kevin Youkilis still really can’t hit the backside of a barn. The Yanks have won three out of four in this series dating back to last year, and though they stand just 6-14 in their last 20 clashes with the Red Sox, we think they’re poised for a great series here in Beantown.

NBA Gambling Lines Orlando Magic Vs Utah Jazz Picks and Odds

Nos NBA Odds – Orlando Magic To Get Hammered By Utah Jazz

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

BookMaker Sportsbook

The NBA odds for this week are posted at Bookmaker Sportsbook, and today, we’re taking a look at this tilt in the NBA playoff chase, as the Utah Jazz and the Orlando Magic get it on this Saturday night.

Utah Jazz Predictions VS Orlando Magic Picks

NBA Betting Online:

The Utah Jazz (33-30, 32-30-1 ATS) and the Orlando Magic (36-26, 33-29-0 ATS) are set to tango on Saturday, April 21st from  the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, UT. We’re breaking down the NBA odds for this clash, which can be seen on ESPN and ESPN3.com at 10:30 ET.

To say that Saturday night’s soiree between the Magic and Jazz is important is an understatement. A win on the NBA betting odds for Orlando would put it a bit closer to the #4 seed in the Eastern Conference. Coming into play on Thursday, the Magic are a game back of the Atlanta Hawks and a half-game back of the Boston Celtics. Those teams, in some order, are going to be #4, #5, and #6 in the East when the season is said and done with.

Utah though, has a lot more on the line. The team is just barely on the right side of the playoffs right now, but the Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns are both just a half-game back. There is room to move up, but the Jazz are a heck of a lot more concerned about just getting into the dance than they are about their seeding.

The good news for the Jazz on the NBA gambling odds is that they are really getting some good contributions out of some lesser players at the right time. Gordon Hayward and Devin Harris are coming off of a game in which they combined for 50 points and eight boards against the Portland Trail Blazers on the road, and in that same game, Alec Burks had 17 points, while Enes Kanter had 10 off of the bench.

Meanwhile, the Magic have some issues right now with Dwight Howard out of the fold. Glen Davis is back after missing a game with a mild knee injury, and he is going to be the key man in the middle in this one again with Howard still nursing that herniated disk. If Orlando is to beat the NBA wagering odds on Saturday on the road, Davis is going to need another game like he had against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday in which he had 27 points and seven rebounds.

NBA Odds Prediction – This is just a bad spot for Orlando to be in. The team is playing a back-to-back on the road out West at a poor time of year, and it is starting with a Utah team that stands a rock solid 18-12 ATS as a host. The Magic’s three-game cover streak is going to come to a close in this one against a team that is a heck of a lot hungrier at the moment.

NBA Basketball Lines Celtics Vs Hawks Predictions and Odds

NBA Odds – Celtics and Hawks to flex Defensive Muscles on ESPN Friday Night

Written by North Shore Sports, INC

BookMaker Sportsbook

The first leg of ESPN’s Friday night telecast takes us to Atlanta where the Hawks will attempt to improve upon their playoff positioning when they battle the Boston Celtics against the NBA odds at Bookmaker Sportsbook.

Atlanta Hawks Picks VS Boston Celtics Predictions

NBA Betting Online:

Thes (36-25, 33-26-2 ATS) will attempt to get off the schneid against the Boston Celtics (36-26, 31-29-2 ATS) this season on Friday, April 20th when the Eastern Conference rivals square off in their final NBA odds battle of the regular season; The Philips Arena tip is scheduled to go live on ESPN starting at 7:00 ET.

You can’t help but come away impressed with how the aging Celtics have dealt with the rigors of this very demanding strike shortened season. The team got out to a very rough start dropping nine of its first 14 games (6-8 ATS), but they found their groove from mid-January to mid-February to once again become a player in the East. Unfortunately, the team then went on to drop seven of eight right before the All Star break. Ever since however, the Celtics have been one of the nastiest teams in the league having won 21 of their 30 games played (18-10-2 ATS).

Because of that exceptionally lucrative stretch against the closing NBA betting odds , Head Coach Doc Rivers’ squad currently sits atop the Atlantic Division standings by 3.5-games over the second place Knicks, and has a grasp of the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference standings. The Celtics have a home date with Orlando scheduled Wednesday night before heading south to battle the Hawks; Paul Pierce and his mates check in a rock solid 22-12 SU & 20-14 ATS with a full day’s rest under the belts. However, the C’s are just 15-17 SU & 15-16-1 ATS when playing away from the TD Garden on the year.

The fight for second place in the Southeast Division is on with both the Magic and Hawks tied with identical 36-25 SU records heading into Hump Day night’s slate. Atlanta would love for the Celtics to help them out then, but then lie down like dogs when they meet up in their regular season finale against one another Friday night. The Hawks will host the Detroit Pistons next off a home and home split with the Toronto Raptors; Head Coach Larry Drew’s outfit is one of just five Eastern Conference teams that are yet to lose 10 games at home this season – they’re 19-9 SU but just 14-14 ATS overall.

Whether or not the Hawks have the talent on hand to make a deeper NBA lines run than last season remains to be seen. Not much was brought in or let go from last year’s team that bowed out in the Conference Semifinals against the Chicago Bulls in six games. Those same Bulls currently check in as the #1 ranked team on the Sagarin Ratings while the Hawks check in at #12. Most unimpressive is the fact that Atlanta stands just 9-19 SU against the Top 16 and an even more bothersome 5-13 SU versus the Top 10 teams of those ratings to date; Boston’s #10.

NBA Odds Selection – Either way you look at it, Boston is in a fantastic place. If the playoffs were to begin today, they’d be facing the Hawks in the first round and won both of this season’s earlier meetings to move to 4-1 SU & 3-2 ATS in the teams L/5 meetings. If somehow the schizophrenic Magic leap frog the Hawks in the standings, they’ve won both meetings with Orlando to date and stand 4-0 SU & 3-0-1 ATS in the L/4 meetings. That said; we have no choice but to look for a tough defensive minded game once again as these rivals have played to the low side of the ‘total’ in four of their L/5 (2-0 this season), and in four of the L/5 times they squared off in Atlanta.

Will the final meeting of the regular season once again play out to a low scorer, or will one of these team manage to post enough points to surpass the closing NBA odds? Whichever side of the number you plan to back in this match-up, be sure to do so over at Bookmaker Sportsbook – Where the Line Originates!

Baseball Gambling Odds Rangers Vs Red Sox Predictions and Lines

MLB Odds – Rangers and Red Sox go at it Live on ESPN2 Wednesday Night

Written by North Shore Sports, INC

Baseball Gambling

American League heavyweights are set to collide against the MLB odds at Bookmaker Sportsbook on Wednesday night when the defending AL champion Texas Rangers  square off against the Boston Red Sox.

Boston Red Sox Picks VS Texas Rangers Odds

MLB Betting Online:

The Texas Rangers (8-2, $425) will close out their mini two-game MLB odds series with the Boston Red Sox (4-6, -$236) when the teams meet up on Wednesday, April 18th; first pitch will be thrown from Fenway Park in Boston, MA on ESPN2 at 7:10 ET.

Texas has gotten out to a strong start to its 2012 campaign securing wins in eight of their first 10 games. They’ll head to Fenway a perfect 3-0 ($300) away from Arlington after having just swept the Minnesota Twins at Target Field over the weekend. Currently, Manager Ron Washington’s squad checks in as the fifth most lucrative MLB betting odds wager in the league after running off an 8-2 record as favorites in every game.

The Rangers could be looking to win their sixth straight game when they battle the Green Monster in Beantown come Wednesday night. If they can get the best of Jon Lester in the series opener on Tuesday, that will be the case. So far, this squad has performed admirably in all major stat categories. They’ve scored an average of 4.5 runs per game (#13) and already launched 15 long balls (#4). The starting staff has churned out quality efforts in seven of 10 tries (#4), and the 2.30 staff ERA is the second best mark in the league.

When is all the drama going to stop in Boston? After last season’s choke job that saw the Red Sox miss out on postseason play on the final day of the regular season, word got out that former Manager Terry Francona ran a very loose ship allowing drinking and gambling while games were actually going on. Even though he was not retained, the drama has continued. If Boston’s 4-6 start wasn’t enough to make its fans restless, the fact that new Manager Bobby Valentine questioning 3B Kevin Youkilis’ desire certainly turned the trick.

This franchise needs nothing more than to build team chemistry after the debacle that was last season, and so far, that goal looks to hardly be within reach. The Red Sox just took three of four MLB odds battles from the division rival Tampa Bay Rays to move to 3-1 ($194) as hosts. While the offense has gotten out to a solid start averaging 5.3 runs per game (#3), the team is still without Carl Crawford and Kevin Youkilis and just recently lost Jacoby Ellsbury for an undetermined amount of time after he dislocated his right shoulder. With the pitching staff struggling at the outset of the year (#28 at 5.10 ERA), the offense must continue to tote the mail until it rediscovers how to avoid the opposition’s bats.

MLB Odds Breakdown – Texas has won these rivals season series each of the L/2 years after taking six of the 10 overall meetings in 2011; the ‘over’ went 6-3-1 in those contests. Boston has come out the victor 12 of the L/20 times it welcomed the ‘Gers into Fenway, but the Josh Hamilton and his mates have won six of their L/10 visits. Lefty Derek Holland is 2-1 with a 2.95 ERA in three career starts against the BoSox, and the Rangers have won 16 of his L/21 overall trips to the starting bump. Josh Beckett’s 3-2 with a 5.03 ERA & .280 BAA in eight career starts against Texas; he gave up one ER and four hits through six innings of his lone start against them in Arlington last season.

NBA Basketball Gambling Odds Heat Vs Bulls Picks and Lines

NBA Lines – Miami Heat to Even Season Series with Bulls on TNT

Written by North Shore Sports, INC

BookMaker Sportsbook

The first leg of TNT’s Thursday night telecast takes NBA lines players to Miami where the Heat will look to even up the season series with the Chicago Bulls at Bookmaker Sportsbook.

Miami Heat Predictions VS Chicago Bulls Lines

NBA Betting Online:

The Miami Heat (43-17, 29-31 ATS) will attempt to halt their three-game NBA lines losing streak against the Chicago Bulls (46-15, 34-26-1 ATS) on Thursday, April 19th when the teams meet up for the final time in the regular season; tip-off from the American Airlines Arena is set to go live on TNT starting at 8:00 ET.

You can’t help but come away impressed with the job Head Coach Tom Thibodeau and his staff have done with the Bulls considering the team’s expected starting line-up hasn’t played together at the same time for a bulk of the season. Free agent acquisition Richard Hamilton has only seen the floor in 40 percent of the games played, and reigning MVP Derrick Rose has missed 23 games himself. Still, Chicago sits atop the Eastern Conference standings by 2.5-games over the Miami Heat, and also possesses the best overall record in the league.

Luol Deng has also missed a number of games and most recently sat out the Bulls shocking 87-84 outright NBA betting lines defeat against the Washington Wizards after taking a shot to the ribs; he’s listed as questionable for tonight’s grudge match with the Heat. The Bulls will be in Charlotte the night before this one, and will enter TNT’s Thursday night clash 12-5 SU & 9-8 ATS when playing on no rest on the year. Chicago’s won 22 of its 30 road games played to date (19-11 ATS), and has gone a solid 10-5 SU versus the Sagarin Ratings Top 10 ranked teams; Miami checks in at #3.

Miami returns home to battle the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night off a solid two-stop roady that saw it beat the New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets on back-to-back nights, 1-1 ATS. Since dropping successive decisions to both the Celtics and Bulls last week, LeBron James and his mates have rattled off three straight wins, and in the process of doing so, chewed a game off of their deficit for the top overall seed in the East after Chicago choked one away against the Wizards on Monday night.

The Heat have been dealing with injuries to Dwyane Wade of late, as the All Star has missed four of their L/9 games with a multitude of injuries. He just missed their win over the Nets and will more than likely be held out of Wednesday’s bout with the Dinos, but you can bet your bottom dollar that he’ll be suited up for tonight’s crucial NBA lines clash with the Bulls. Coach Spoelstra’s squad checks in 11-7 SU & 7-11 ATS when playing unrested, and they’ve only churned out a 10-9 SU record versus the Sagarin Ratings Top 10. That said; they’ve protected their house well to date having won 25 of 29 overall (15-14 ATS).

NBA Lines Prediction – Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. We’ve backed the Heat in each of their last two meetings with the Bulls, and came away disappointed both times. However, Miami was a desperation three-point hit by C.J Watson away from taking the most recent battle before getting crunched in OT. With that the case, and with this meeting in their own house where they already possess a 97-93 win over the Bulls this season, we’ll side with them one more time; on the $$$-Line. Chicago has been exceptional as an underdog of late (6-4 SU, 7-3 ATS L/10), but we just don’t see them being able to win this one with either Deng or Rose out of the fold in hostile territory.

Who you want to back tonight – Bosh… Boozer? Whichever side you plan to invest in, be sure to make it a point to head over to Bookmaker Sportsbook where you can take advantage of some of the best NBA lines offered up in the business!

NBA Basketball Gambling Picks Nuggets Vs Clippers Predictions

NBA Odds – Denver Nuggets to Defend Home Court against the Clippers

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

BookMaker Sportsbook

A pair of second place teams are set to collide against the NBA odds at Bookmaker Sportsbook on Wednesday night when Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers pay a visit to the Mile High City to battle the Denver Nuggets.

Los Angeles Clippers Lines VS Denver Nuggets Betting Odds

NBA Betting Online:

Playoff ramifications will be aplenty on Wednesday, April 18th when the Los Angeles Clippers (37-23, 31-29  ATS) and Denver Nuggets (33-27, 31-29 ATS) close out their 2011-12 NBA odds season series; tip-off from the Pepsi Center is set for 9:00 ET on NBA League Pass.

Chris Paul and his Clippers teammates have a huge game set to go on Monday at home against the Western Conference leading Oklahoma City Thunder. They’ll take to their home hardwood for that one winners of three in a row (2-1 ATS) after taking care of business against the aforementioned Thunder, Timberwolves, and Warriors; the 112-104 home win and non-cover came up short of covering the closing 13-point spread to snap their two-game NBA odds win streak at two in a row. The three wins moved them 1.5-games in back of the Lakers who currently sit atop the Pacific Division standings.

Since dropping three in a row to Indiana, OKC, and New Orleans, Head Coach Vinny Del Negro’s squad has turned its intensity level to max output. Because of that, the Clippers have won 11 of their L/13 overall games (9-4 ATS) to snag the Western Conference’s 4th overall seed; Memphis trails them by 1.5-games and holds the #5 seed. LA will invade Denver winners in four of their L/5 both SU & ATS on the road to move to 15-14 SU & ATS away from the Staples Center. LA has gone 17-11 SU against the 28 teams they’ve faced within the Sagarin Ratings Top 16; Denver’s #12.

Denver will enter Monday night’s crucial road test with the Houston Rockets having won six of their L/10 overall hardwood clashes (5-5 ATS). Last time out, they held serve at home to score the 101-86 win and cover as 3.5-point favorites moving them to 19-12 SU & 13-18 ATS as a host on the year. Rookie Kenneth Faried continued his exceptional play posting 10 points and 11 rebounds to tally a double-double for the third time in his L/4 games played, while guards Ty Lawson and Arron Afflalo combined for 40 points to help lead the Nuggs to victory.

Denver currently sits in second place of the Northwest Division but trails the Oklahoma City Thunder by 11-games. Still, Head Coach George Karl’s squad sits within the Western Conference playoff picture currently in the #7 seed a half-game in back of #6 Dallas and one-game ahead of the #8 Rockets. The Nuggets currently rank 12th on the Sagarin Ratings behind the Mavericks, and have only managed to go 8-12 SU against those ratings Top 10 teams; the Clippers check in at #6.

NBA Odds Prediction – The Nuggets will be out to even up their season series with the Clippers after LA pulled out the 109-105 outright win as 5.5-point underdogs back in late January; Denver answered that with a 112-91 outright win as one-point underdogs at the Staples Center a couple days later. That road win “Lob City” tallied snapped their nine-game losing streak in the Pepsi Center, and it might even find themselves favored at tonight’s tip. With that the case, all the value resides with the home team who still has much to gain in winning as many games as possible so as to qualify for the second season; LA looks to be a lock already to do so. Denver’s been a stellar dog on the road (26-9 ATS L/35), but not so much as a pup up to four-points (0-4 ATS L/4). It’s high time for them to erase that bagel in the win column and do themselves a favor by earning a solid home win against a top notch opponent.

The NBA Playoffs are right around the corner! There’s no better way to reacclimate yourself with the league at Bookmaker Sportsbook than for this NBA odds match-up between the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets.

NBA Basketball Betting Lines Spurs Vs Lakers Picks and Odds

NBA Betting – San Antonio Spurs to Halt Lakers Win Streak on TNT

Written by North Shore Sports, INC

BookMaker Sportsbook

Western Conference heavyweights are set to collide in NBA betting action at Bookmaker Sportsbook on Tuesday night when Tony Parker and the San Antonio Spurs invade Tinseltown to battle Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.

San Antonio Spurs Odds VS Los Angeles Lakers Picks

NBA Betting Online:

The San Antonio Spurs (42-16, 35-20-3 ATS) will be out to avenge the shocking NBA betting home defeat they incurred last week against the Los Angeles Lakers (39-22, 26-35 ATS) when the teams match wits on Tuesday, April 17th; tip-off from the Staples Center is set to go live on TNT at 10:30 ET.

Since dropping back-to-back games to both the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers, the Spurs have gotten back to the business of posting “W’s” in each of their last two match-ups against teams fighting for postseason positioning. Tim Duncan and his mates bounced back from that dreadful 98-84 home defeat to LA by posting a 107-97 home win and cover against the division rival Memphis Grizzlies, and most recently, knocked off a game Phoenix Suns outfit 105-91 as lofty nine-point NBA betting favorites.

The pair of wins moved them to within a game of the Western Conference leading Oklahoma City Thunder for the conference’s #1 seed, and extended their lead in the Southwest Division to eight-games. Coach Popovich’s squad will head to Golden State Monday night having won 17 of their 28 games played away from the AT&T Center on the year (14-12-2 ATS), and will then invade the Staples Center the following night having gone 11-6 SU & 8-7-2 ATS when playing on no rest. The Spurs currently rank 4th per the Sagarin Ratings, and have gone 12-5 SU versus the 17 teams they’ve faced ranked amongst those ratings Top 10.

What are we to make of the Lakers current four-game winning streak (3-1 ATS)? The reason we ask is because its occurred with their All Star – Kobe Bryant – riding the pine as he nurses his injured shin back to health. The wins came against a resurgent New Orleans outfit along with San Antonio, Denver, and Dallas; all teams currently in the Western Conference playoff picture. Sunday’s 112-108 thrilling OT win and NBA betting odds win against the defending champion Dallas Mavericks saw them sweep the regular season series after the defending champs did the same to them in the conference semis last season.

The back-to-back wins over the Mavs and Nuggets improved Head Coach Mike Brown’s squad to an impressive 25-6 SU but a poor 15-16 versus the closing pointspread. Since giving up an absurd 125 points to the Suns right before their current winning streak, only the Mavericks crossed the 100-point plateau against this defense; and that game included an extra session. LA will have had one full day off to prepare for this heavyweight clash; they’re 9-9 SU & 7-11 ATS in that scenario to date. They’ve also managed to only split their 16 games SU versus the Sagarin Ratings Top 10 ranked teams.

NBA Betting Pick: The road team and underdog are a combined 10-4 ATS in the L/7 overall meetings. If Kobe still isn’t able to give it a go, the Spurs will more than likely be short favorites here. Either way, this is a game SA will want in a big way, and not even a Lakers squad seemingly firing on all cylinders without their superstar in the line-up will be able to contend with that. LA took SA by surprise the first time around, but don’t look for that to occur this time around. Coach Pop will make adjustments to improve San Antonio’s  12-3-1 ATS record the L/16 times it went into a +.500 home team’s house.

So will the Spurs avenge the embarrassing NBA betting defeat they incurred in these teams last meeting, or will the Lakers once again topple them sans Kobe? Whichever side of the line you toe, take your action over to Bookmaker Sportsbook and be confident in knowing you’ll be playing into some of the most competitive lines in the business!

NHL Playoff Betting Odds Predators Vs Red Wings Predictions

NHL Lines – Back At Home, Detroit Red Wings To Take Lead Over Nashville Predators

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

BookMaker Sportsbook

The #4 Nashville Predators are all set to take on the #5 Detroit Red Wings in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, and here at Bookmaker Sportsbook, we’re here to help you beat the NHL lines for this Sunday soiree!

Nashville Predators Picks VS Detroit Red Wings Lines

NHL Betting Online:

The battle on the NHL playoff lines will be hot and heavy on Sunday, April 15th between the Nashville Predators (49-27-8) and the Detroit Red Wings (49-29-6). It all gets started at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI with the puck dropping at 12:00 ET. Live television coverage is set for NBC and CBC.

The Red Wings were never really the favorites on the NHL betting lines in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals, and though they did end up taking the 2-0 lead relatively early in the first period in a game that was played at Bridgestone Arena, there were definitely some matters that came to fruition that need to be fixed to make sure that they hold home ice advantage over these next two games.

The big problems came in the penalty box. Detroit found itself shorthanded six different times in the game compared to just two for Nashville. The good news is that the penalty kill got the job done and didn’t allow a goal in that stretch, but the team needs to make sure that it isn’t getting itself into that type of a situation all that often again.

The real problem that we have is that a lot of these penalties have been generally foolish in nature. In a span of just four minutes, Detroit was hit for infractions of goaltender interference, tripping, and delay of game, and those are the types of calls that drive coaches to drink. Remember that the Red Wings killed just 81.8 percent of their man disadvantages over the course of the year, so if Nashville is going to come back and beat the NHL gambling lines in this series that is likely one of the best ways to be able to do it.

Of course, the Predators need someone to really step it up to beat the NHL wagering lines. They have zero power play goals over the course of the two games in the playoffs, and they have put together just five goals with only three players having at least two points to show for their work.

NHL Lines Pick – In the end, the Predators are going to have a heck of a time coming on the road and winning a game in this series. It definitely wasn’t an accident that the Red Wings broke the league record for most consecutive home victories this year when they rolled off 23 in a row, and there is no reason to believe that they won’t get the job done on Sunday afternoon as well.

Basketball Gambling Lines 76ers Vs Magic Odds and Picks

NBA Odds – Philadelphia 76ers to Rise up and earn huge road Scalp at Orlando

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

BookMaker Sportsbook

The Orlando Magic will be out for a season series win on Monday night when it takes to the hardwood to battle the Philadelphia 76ers against the NBA odds at Bookmaker Sportsbook.

Philadelphia 76ers Lines VS Orlando Magic Picks

NBA Betting Online:

The Philadelphia 76ers (31-27, 29-28-1 ATS) will attempt to even up their 2011-12 NBA odds season series with the Orlando Magic (34-24, 31-25-2 ATS) on Monday, April 16th when the teams partake in their final tussle of the regular season; tip-off from the Amway Center is set to go live on NBA TV starting at 7:00 ET.

Philadelphia got off to a tremendous start to their 2011-12 campaign, but it’s been an extremely rocky road for Head Coach Doug Collins and his staff ever since the All Star break. Once a potential candidate to win the Atlantic Division, the Sixers are now just clinging on to the thought of actually qualifying for the playoffs. As it is, Andre Iguodala and his mates currently hold onto the 7th seed in the East one-game ahead of the 8th seeded New York Knicks and three-games in back of tonight’s opponent for the 6th seed.

However, since dropping four straight to Miami, Toronto, Orlando, and Boston (1-3 ATS), the Sixers have rattled off a pair of wins against New Jersey and Toronto, and with those triumphs came a pair of NBA odds covers as well. Granted, the opposition was far from threatening with neither the Raptors nor Nets heading to the second season, but wins are wins and you never know which ones will be the catalyst to get a team back on track. Philly has covered three of its L/4 away from the Wells Fargo Center, and checks in 12-15 SU & 12-14-1 ATS on the road overall.

Once Dwight Howard stated he would remain in Orlando through next season, it was supposed to be nothing but peace signs and rainbows for the team as well as the coaching staff. That however has been far from the case with the rumor spreading that “Superman” did not want Coach Van Gundy around next season. To put it mildly, this has created a very hostile environment for the Magic to contend with, and it’s shown in their recent performances. After rattling off wins and covers against both Philadelphia and Detroit, it traveled to Washington on Tuesday and lost to the Wizards outright as 4.5-point NBA odds chalk.

That’s right folks! The freaking Wizards! Granted, Howard sat out due to his back giving him problems, but you’d still expect a Magic team currently in the Eastern Conference playoff chase to still be able to get by a Washington team that had mustered just 13 wins heading into that match-up. Orlando’s All Star is listed as doubtful for this game as well. That’s not a good omen considering the Magic have struggled against the Top 10 teams on the Sagarin Ratings they’ve faced going just 9-13 SU for the year; Philly surprisingly checks in at #8. Orlando’s 119-89 rout of the Pistons on Monday snapped the team’s three-game SU & ATS losing streak in front of its hometown faithful.

NBA Odds Prediction – The Magic have dominated their recent rivalry with the Sixers capturing “W’s” in eight of the L/10 meetings both SU & ATS. They’ve taken two of the three meetings this season which included a 103-87 home win and cover back on February 15th. However, the ramifications in this one are huge for the Sixers. If they win, they’d take a step closer towards getting out of the 7th seed and matching up with either Miami or Chicago in the 1st round. We expect the 76ers to enter this clash in the midst of a three-game win streak (vs. NJN), and keeping that streak alive should be just enough motivation added to the bigger picture to get past the Howard-less Magic.

The playoffs are right round the corner, so there’s no better time than now to pad your NBA odds bankroll! Reacclimate yourself with the league right now at Bookmaker Sportsbook with this NBA odds match-up between the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic!

NBA Basketball Gambling Lines Mavericks Vs Lakers Predictions

NBA Betting – Dallas Mavericks to make Last Stand in Staples on Sunday

Written by North Shore Sports, INC

Los Angeles Lakers Picks VS Dallas Mavericks Lines

The Dallas Mavericks will be out looking to avoid the season series sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers when the Western Conference rivals collide in NBA betting action at Bookmaker Sportsbook on Sunday afternoon.

BookMaker Sportsbook

NBA Betting Online:

The Los Angeles Lakers (37-22, 24-35 ATS) will look to put the finishing touches on a regular season sweep of the Dallas Mavericks (33-26, 29-29 ATS) when the teams meet up for their fourth and final NBA betting clash on Sunday, April 15th; tip-off from the Staples Center is set to go live on ABC at 3:30 ET.

Even though the Mavericks have posted back-to-back wins heading into Friday night’s road clash with the Portland Trailblazers, there’s still plenty of work to be done if the defending champs are to get a shot at defending that title in the second season. They currently hold the 6th seed in the Western Conference 1.5-games behind the 5th seeded Memphis Grizzlies and only half-games in front of both the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets who find themselves in the 7th and 8th slots respectively. Both Utah and Phoenix only sit two-games back as well!

Still, the fact that the offense posted back-to-back 100+ point efforts has to sit well with those that backed them on the NBA betting line their last two games; it marked the first time Dallas hit the 100-point plateau since ousting Houston 101-99 in overtime back on March 24th. However, with games set to go against the Lakers, Jazz, and Rockets in their next three following Friday night’s trip to the Rose Garden, it will be the defense that must continue playing at a championship level. The win and cover by the Bay improved the Mavs to 12-16 SU & 13-14 ATS away from ‘Big D’, but they’ll invade Tinseltown just 8-15 SU against the Sagarin Ratings Top 10 ranked teams; LA checks in at #5.

Will he play or will he sit? That is the question the folks in La La land have about star shooting guard Kobe Bryant. He’s now missed each of the Lakers last three games dealing with a tendon issue in his left shin, and is listed as questionable to return for Friday night’s home clash with the Denver Nuggets. However, after getting embarrassed 125-105 in the first game he missed at Phoenix, the Lakers went out and closed their road trip out with wins at both New Orleans and San Antonio.

The outright NBA betting win as 10-point underdogs at the Spurs was most impressive considering Popovich played all his aging superstars, and LA went at them without the services of their All Star. Metta World Peace stepped up with his best effort of the season (26 points), while Andrew Bynum dominated the paint pulling down a whopping 30 rebounds. If those two continue to play at that level when Kobe returns, there’s no telling just how far this team can go in the second season. The win also moved them to 8-8 SU against the Sagarin Ratings Top 10, and they’ll host the Mavs in a venue they’ve won 23 of 29 games in heading into Friday night (13-16 ATS).

NBA Betting Pick: The fact that Dallas swept the Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals did not sit well with Pau Gasol and his mates. They’ve gone out and won all three of these teams meetings this season by an average of eight points per game and came only a bucket away from covering all three games. Having said that, we expect Dallas to throw everything at the Lakers in this regular season finale knowing full well they need to more or less win out to hold onto their playoff positioning. The Mavs have covered each of their L/3 trips to Staples, and Sunday should be no different!

Can Dirk Nowitzki come up with another huge game to help earn his squad the NBA betting road cover, or will the Lakers continue their regular season domination of this rivalry and pull off the sweep?
