Denver Broncos with a record of 8-4 and 2nd place at AFC West. If Broncos can just take care of business, playoff picture should take care of itself. The Broncos will have to face Indianapolis Colts with a perfect record of 12-0 and if they beat the Broncos the will clinch the top of the AFC Conference and they will be set for the playoffs.

Denver Broncos could be the team that spoils the Coltsí quest for an unbeaten season? Although 12-0, the Colts have had five close games the past six weeks. Denver has defeated current division-leading teams this season like New England (AFC East), Cincinnati (AFC North), San Diego (AFC West) and Dallas (NFC East). That says a lot about the Broncos intentions of squeezing themselves into the Wild Card spot of the AFC. The Broncos still have plenty of football left to play during the regular season. They were 8-5 a year ago and finished 8-8 to miss the playoffs, so itís probably best to not get too far ahead of ourselves. Look around the AFC, though, and itís clear the Broncos are one of the best teams in the conference. Just three teams in the AFC have better records: Indianapolis (12-0), Cincinnati (9-3) and San Diego (9-3). The Broncos already have defeated two of those teams, and they face the unbeaten Colts on Sunday and they could be the killers of that streak. If Broncos win this game they will be securing the Wild Card spot since their nearest rivals are the Jaguars with a record of 7-5, this game means alot to Denver. Players like QB Kyle Orton, RB Knowshon Moreno, RB Correll Buckhalter, WR Brandon Marshall and WR Jabar Gaffney are dying to go out there on sunday and show what they are really made of, the best of luck to them.
Indianapolis Colts have to beat Denver on Sunday for their record-setting 22nd consecutive regular-season victory, they also will clinch the AFC’s top seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoff. A win over the Broncos (8-4) would make the Colts 13-0. San Diego (9-3) and Cincinnati (9-3) are the only other AFC teams who can reach 13 wins, but they still play each other. The winner of that game would lose a tiebreaker to Indianapolis at 13-3 based on common opponents. This season, the club has extended its franchise record to 10 consecutive road wins. Indianapolis has won its last 12 home games, tying the franchise record. Additionally, the Colts have posted their eighth consecutive 10+-victory season, setting the 2nd-longest such streak in NFL history (16, San Francisco, 1983-98; 7, Dallas, 1975-81). Indianapolis also has earned its seventh consecutive season with 11+ victories, surpassing the NFL record it had shared with Dallas (6, 1976-81). The Colts have extended their league mark to seven consecutive seasons (2003-09) with 12+ victories. The Colts now have 113 victories for the 2000-09 decade, tying the league record of 113 by San Francisco from 1990-99. The Colts are owners of the NFLís best regular-season record (126-46) since the start of the 1999 season, while being the only team to earn 10 playoff appearances in the last eleven seasons, including a league-best eight consecutive post-season berths. Indianapolis has won 71 of its last 85 regular-season games. The Colts also produced a 100-game regular-season record of 80-20 (2003-09). New England earned an 81-19 record during this decade for the NFLís best 100-game regular-season mark. Indianapolisí winning ways include a 37-10 record in AFC South play, while the club has owned or shared the lead in 107 of 131 weeks of the divisionís existence. The Colts won five AFC South championships from 2003-07, the best divisional-title streak in club history. The Colts were wire-to-wire divisional leaders during the 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 seasons. The best team in the AFC is looking to shut the Broncos down and secure the home field advantage and it has to be done now, it will be the perfect chance since they haven’t lost a home game in a very long time. Players like All-Star QB Peyton Manning, RB Joseph Addai, RB Donald Brown, WR Reggie Wayne and TE Dallas Clark will be the key to the Colts success. These players have been the corner stone for the Colts this season and they will battle with the Broncos to the end.
DENVER BRONCOS 44
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS -7
THE PREDICTION ON THIS GAME COULD BE A TOUGH ONE. BRONCOS NEED THE VICTORY TO CLAIM THE WILD CARD SPOT AND SECURE A GOOD DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM AND THEIR NEAREST RIVAL, THE COLTS NEED THE VICTORY TO CLINCH THE AFC CONFERENCE TOP AND SECURE THE HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE. MY PICK WILL BE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS -7.
