If you”re a fan of betting the college basketball odds, you”ve come to the right place here at Bookmaker Sportsbook. Join us as we break down the clash on the hardwood between the NC State Wolfpack and the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday in the ACC.
If you like running and gunning basketball, this is the game for you for sure. The Tar Heels and the Wolfpack both have suspect defenses, and both have Top 10 offenses in the country. More importantly though, both teams badly need this game to ensure that their spots in the NCAA Tournament are on lockdown. The loser will be sweating for another game. The winner likely will know that it is going to be dancing for sure regardless of what else happens in the final battles of the year on the .
We”ll start with the host Tar Heels, who have won two in a row. In fact, there really isn”t a bad loss anywhere on the slate of late for UNC, as the road losses against the Duke Blue Devils, Miami Hurricanes, and this NCSU team are the only defeats that have been suffered since the middle of January.
The team concept of basketball is apparent this year in Chapel Hill, as there are three players scoring between 13 and 15 points per game and a slew of men averaging in the 6-8 points per game range. There really isn”t much in the way of guaranteed NBA talent, but when we analyze the college basketball gambling odds, we do realize that F James Michael McAdoo is probably going to the next level as a star soon.
NC State isn”t nearly as deep. The Wolfpack get virtually all of their scoring from seven players, and as we saw when G Lorenzo Brown was out of the lineup, missing any of the seven makes this a very beatable team on the college basketball wagering odds.
Do keep a close eye on F TJ Warren. He is probably the most underappreciated player of the seven in the NC State rotation, but he is coming off of a game against the Florida State Seminoles in which he scored 31 points and
pulled down 13 boards.
Free Pick – The 174 points that were put on the board the last time that these two teams met a few weeks ago wasn”t a mistake by any stretch of the imagination. Both of these teams need this win in a big time way, and they are both going to go all out to get it. Carolina”s offense has struggled a bit of late, but that has come against good defensive teams. Now with the lousy Wolfpack defense coming to town, there is no reason to think that at least 80 won”t get put up by both teams.
