From the farmland of the Midwest to the crowded streets of Times Square and everywhere in between, Bookmaker Sportsbook has you covered with the most college basketball wagering options for Tuesday, November 15th, and everyday throughout the 2011 season, including the heavyweight bout featuring Kentucky and Kansas as part of the State Farm Champions Classic from Madison Square Garden. ESPN will provide the national television broadcast starting at 9:00 ET.

No one’s sure how John Calipari does it, but Big Blue Nation is home yet again to the nation’s top recruiting class and you best be sure that these youngsters will be on display right from the get-go. Though freshman point guard Brandon Knight opted for the NBA along with swingman DeAndre Liggins, the Wildcats locked down blue-chip players to cover every corner, but no one was more highly touted than the team’s freshman center, Anthony Davis, considered by most to have been the top recruit in the city of Chicago.

“He’s 6-10, but he plays like a guard,” Calipari said. “He has unbelievable skills, passing and shooting and gives us an extraordinary shot blocking presence.” Davis is joined by Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Marcus Teague and Kyle Wiltjer as the fab four freshman in Lexington, but the team still belongs to sophomore Terrence Jones. Jones will have leadership help from senior Darius Miller and fellow sophomore, shooting guard Doron Lamb. Kentucky will undoubtedly be one of the most dangerous teams in the country this season.

Kentucky will have a very slight test against Marist on Friday before making its way to the Big Apple. The Wildcats are a healthy 7-2 ATS in their last nine non-conference college basketball wagering contests.

There’s no other way to put it: the Kansas Jayhawks lost a ton from last year’s team that won the Big 12 regular season championship, the Big 12 Post Season Tournament and made a run to the Elite 8 before being upset by VCU in the NCAA Tournament. Both of the Morris twins have departed, as have backcourt mates Brady Morningstar and Tyrel Reed. Though guard Tyshawn Taylor returns, the Jayhawks’ depleted roster is certainly a cause for concern, especially if the team or the NCAA ends up suspending more players.

Ben McLemore and Jamari Traylor were deemed nonqualifiers by the NCAA and will miss the season; neither player is even allowed to have contact with any member of the team or head coach Bill Self. All American candidate Thomas Robinson is back as well, and center Jeff Withey along with forward Justin Wesley will have to step up if Kansas has any hopes of replacing its production in the paint from 2010.

Just as Kentucky will do, Kansas will be in action on Friday as the Jayhawks host Towson. The ‘under’ has played to a perfect 5-0 mark in Kansas’ last five college basketball wagering match ups.
