The Dallas Cowboys have gotten healthy each of the last two weeks scoring 23-13 and 44-7 wins over the Seattle Seahawks and Buffalo Bills respectively. In doing so, Head Coach Jason Garret’s squad pulled a game over .500 and moved into second place in the NFC East behind the New York Giants. Dallas has scored a combined 23 points its last two ventures away from Arlington, and in last year’s trip to FedEx Field, it killed itself with crucial penalties and turnovers; the last penalty of which wiped the game winning TD catch off the board.

That season opening win over the division rival New York Giants must seem like eons ago for the average Redskin fan, as is the 3-1 SU start Washington got out to through the first quarter of their 2011-12 season. Since then, it’s been nothing but doom and gloom for the Redskins who have dropped five straight which included last week’s subpar effort in Miami that saw the Dolphins register their first home win since Week 10 of last season.

The defense has held up its end of the bargain thus far only allowing 337.1 YPG (#12) and 19.8 PPG (#9), but the offense has been nonexistent and is the main reason why this squad enters this Week 11 NFL gambling lines spot in a funk. When you don’t have stability at the quarterback position in this league, you aren’t going to win many games or be competitive on a weekly basis. Head Coach Mike Shanahan’s decision to replace Week 1 starter Rex Grossman with John Beck was unwise to say the least. Though Rex is turnover prone, he’s proven to be more capable of moving the offense. The move just might have lost Shanahan his team.

NFL Gambling Prediction – These division rivals played to an 18-16 final won by Dallas  in their Monday Night match-up back in Week 3. The win was the Cowboys second in a row over the Skins and fifth in the L/6 overall meetings; the ‘under’ is 5-1 during that stretch. There’s no doubt that Washington will be up for this one against a division rival, but its offensive ineptitude prevents us from backing them plus the points. Instead, we’ll look for another low scorer to play out in this venue where the ‘under’ is 4-0-1 the L/5 times these clubs locked horns.
