We know that first place won’t quite be on the line in the AFC West with this battle, but the team that beats the NFL betting lines in this one is going to be in decent shape going forward. Barring a tie in the Thursday night duel between the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers, Kansas City will either move into a tie for first place with the winner of that game, or the other three teams in the division will be a game back of the winner of that game going into Week 11 next week.

We are so sick and tired of hearing about Tim Tebow. The man helped produce 38 points in last week’s win against the Raiders. Good for him.

In the end, Tebow still went just 10-of-21 as a passer for 124 yards. He made one nice throw to Eric Decker for a touchdown, and the majority of the rest of the scores were produced by Willis McGahee, who rushed for 163 yards and two TDs, and Eddie Royal, who had an awesome catch for a touchdown in the third quarter and later in the half returned a punt for a touchdown.

That moved Tebow’s pass completion percentage up to 46.4, only remotely challenged by rookie Blaine Gabbert of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He does have a 6/1 TD/INT ratio, but averaging 5.53 yards per pass attempt is about as pitiful as it gets.

Kansas City had its brain fart moment against the NFL betting odds last week when it was taken behind the shed by the Miami Dolphins. The team had a built in excuse though, off of the Monday Night Football win over the Chargers, playing on a short week in a game which was easy to overlook. Now, Head Coach Todd Haley and the gang should be ready to return to your regularly scheduled lead in the AFC West.

NFL Betting Picks – The Broncos did cover both spreads last year in this series, but we can’t help but like the fact that Denver is 1-9-1 ATS in its last 11 games following an ATS victory.
