The 2010 Saints will be remembered as the team that choked in the playoffs against a 7-9 division winner playing with a backup quarterback. Their defense, which was surprisingly stronger in ’10 than it was in their Super Bowl run in ’09, came up short in the postseason, which really left a bitter taste in the mouths of the fans in the Bayou.

Still, QB Drew Brees is a candidate to throw for over 300 yards in every game that he plays, and now, he has a healthy backfield to work with. RB Pierre Thomas looks great, and the de facto tradeoff of RB Mark Ingram for RB Reggie Bush is one that is definitely going to work in New Orleans’ favor.
