The Dolphins have really been one of the most erratic teams in the game. The only thing consistent about them is that they continue to lose.

Last week though, they looked great against the New York Giants for about three quarters before ultimately falling at MetLife Stadium 20-17, just as they looked good at home against the Denver Broncos for 57 minutes before collapsing and losing the game. However, there have been some games this year in which the team has just looked absolutely atrocious.

The offense has been consistently bad no matter who has been at the helm. Ever since losing to the New England Patriots in Week 1, a game in which Miami put up 24 points and 488 total yards, things have gone downhill in a hurry. The team has averaged just 290.7 yards per game since Week 1 and just 13.9 points per game. The Fins also haven’t scored more than 17 points in a game since that point as well.

And then there is Kansas City who is quite the enigma right now. They have beaten the NFL wagering lines in five straight games since starting off the year with embarrassing losses at the Detroit Lions and at home against the Buffalo Bills.

Though the schedule has been notably easier, wins are wins, and they do just seem to be getting better and better for the Chiefs. They’re 4-3 after knocking off the San Diego Chargers at home on Monday Night Football, and for the first time since Week 1, they are favored to win a game.

The key has been getting QB Matt Cassel to put the ball in the air. The team relied too heavily on the run at the start of the season, and after RB Jamaal Charles went down, there really were no other options but to open it up just a tad. The end result has seen WR Dwayne Bowe put up big numbers, as the Chiefs have scored at least 22 points in four straight games and have beaten the NFL gambling lines in all four.

NFL Lines Picks – This is just no respect whatsoever. The Chiefs are winning this game, and though they have only won one game all year by more than five points, we see no reason why, at least half the time, that this won’t be one of them as well.
