Meanwhile, the Pats seemed to get their offensive mojo back last Sunday against the New York Jets, and they seem ready to dominate on the NFL betting odds once again.

But not so fast. This is a huge point spread that we are talking about, and the Chiefs have had a history of playing to the level of their opponents this year.

Sure, the team is 4-5 and has only beaten one team with an above-.500 record this season. However, in two games against the San Diego Chargers, the best team that KC has seen to date, it has lost by three and won by three in overtime. It blew out the Oakland Raiders, that lone above-.500 club on the slate, and the games that it lost came against foes that, for the most part, it probably should have at least competed with on paper.
