Northern Illinois is, however, riding a two game winning streak into Saturday’s game in Buffalo, having dealt Kent State and Western Michigan losses by 30 and 29 points respectively.

The Huskies out of DeKalb rank 15th in the country in scoring, posting an average of 39.6 points per game while their ground game boasts a No. 9 ranking in the nation thanks to the two headed monster created by quarterback Chandler Harnish and fellow senior Jasmin Hopkins. Harnish has also thrown for over 1500 yards this season and 12 touchdowns. It’s clear that Northern Illinois can beat teams on the ground or through the air, which could cause major problems for the Buffalo defense come Saturday afternoon.

Northern Illinois has played to a 4-3 SU ledger in the standings and stands 3-4 against the college football betting odds this season; the Huskies are 2-1 in the MAC and the ‘over’ is 5-2.
