Boston College has gone to a bowl game each of the last 12 years, but that streak is soon to come to an end with the team failing to win the six games necessary to become eligible for an invite. Though the Eagles returned 14 starters from last year’s club that went 7-6 SU and went on to face Nevada in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, Head Coach Frank Spaziani’s kids came up woefully short of expectations this time around, and because of it, will be home for the holidays.

After getting humiliated at home on a Thursday night against Florida State, the Eagles once again beat their former coach in ousting the NC State Wolfpack by a 14-10 final count last week. Notre Dame entered its regular season schedule looking to propel the program back into the ring with the best of the best. Unfortunately, its home schedule started with a thud after falling to South Florida in a game that was marred with numerous weather delays. They looked to have righted the ship through three quarters in Ann Arbor the following week, but the Wolverines put forth an unbelievable 4th quarter flurry that saw them snatch the win from the jaws of defeat. It wasn’t until Week 3 that Head Coach Brian Kelly’s kids tasted the thrill of a college football lines wagering victory in a 31-13 romp of Michigan State.

College Football Lines Prediction – Though its lost each of the last two meetings with the Irish, Boston College has covered four of these rivals L/7 overall meetings. It’s also 3-1 SU & ATS its L/4 trips to Notre Dame Stadium. It’ll be very interesting to see how the Irish handles being such a large favorite in this spot the week after their solid showing in Landover against Maryland with a battle against Andrew Luck and the Stanford Cardinal lined up for next week. The Eagles have covered seven of their L/9 away from Chestnut Hill, while ND stands a very poor 8-20-1 ATS their L/29 as a home chalk of 10 or more points. With a show me attitude, we’ll back the visitors knowing full well the underdog is 6-2 ATS the L/8 times these teams locked horns.
