Though QB Chuckie Keeton has thrown for just 465 yards and two TDs to date, the Aggies don’t look to the air to get the job done offensively. Instead, Utah State likes to pound the opposition with its ground attack that enters tonight’s match-up ranked 5th in the country churning out an average of 316 yards per game.

RB Robert Turbin is one of four Aggies offensive players that have accumulated at least 130 yards rushing overall. He checks in with 365 yards gained and a 5.7 yard per carry average to go along with eight TDs. He’s the ringleader of USU’s offensive attack, and luckily for him, he’ll be going up against a BYU defense that’s ranked 62nd in the country in rush defense (138.2 YPG) that’s allowed seven TDs on the ground and a 3.8 YPC average.

BYU bounced back from its embarrassing showing in the “Holy War” against Utah by winning and covering as short 1.5-point college football betting odds home favorites against Central Florida last Friday night. College Football Odds Prediction – The Cougars showed some real moxie by toppling what is a solid UCF squad at home last week after getting embarrassed the week before by their most hated rival. Utah State is an exciting team on many levels, but it could be entering a hornet’s nest after BYU picked up some much needed self confidence last Friday night. The Aggies snapped their 10 game losing streak in this series last season, but have lost each of their L/15 trips to Provo. Though the Aggies have covered each of the L/3 and four of the L/5 meetings of this rivalry, the home team is 6-1-1 ATS the L/8 and BYU has covered each of its L/6 match-ups following a SU win. Look for the Cougars to avenge last season’s loss with a home win and cover and move to 5-1 ATS their L/6 home games.
