Though UNLV owns a pair of outright wins as underdogs against Hawaii and Colorado State this season, there have been a number of head scratching losses incurred by the Rebs heading into this match-up. A 59-7 pounding at the hands of an erratic Wazzou squad in Week 2 was bad, but not nearly as unacceptable as the team’s 41-16 home defeat against Southern Utah whom they were favored to beat by 10-points on the CFB betting odds.

They did pick up a 38-35 win over Colorado State last week at home out of their bye, but the Broncos went into Fort Collins and handed the Rams an embarrassing 63-13 defeat in the middle of October. Needless to really point out, but these team’s overall abilities seem to be on entirely different levels.
