The Steelers bounced back from their disappointing last second loss to the division rival Ravens at home by winning and covering against the Cincinnati Bengals (24-17) as 3.5-point road chalk right before their Week 11 bye. Head coach Mike Tomlin has led his team to wins and NFL betting line covers each of the L/3 times his troops took the field after an off week. Pittsburgh will hit the road for the sixth time in this spot looking to improve upon their 3-2 SU & 2-3 ATS records as a visitor with wins over Cincy, Arizona, and Indianapolis with losses to both Baltimore and Houston.

QB Ben Roethlisberger could be in line for a solid outing here against a Chiefs defense that had problems containing the Patriots TEs last Monday night. Defensively, the Steelers will be going up against a Chiefs offense that moved the ball well against New England, but costly interceptions thrown by QB Tyler Palko proved to be the end of their demise. The club could improve upon its take-away figure if their zone blitzing scheme gets to the youngster tonight.

What a roller coaster ride it has been for Head Coach Todd Haley’s squad this season. Amidst some major injuries, the year started off with embarrassing losses to both Buffalo and Detroit, but the team seemed to turn the corner against San Diego in Week 3 in a game the Chiefs covered the NFL betting odds easily as 14-point underdogs losing 20-17. The club then won three in a row against Minnesota, Indianapolis, and San Diego on Monday night to once again become a player within the mediocre at best AFC West.

NFL Betting Prediction – The home team has won each of these AFC rivals L/3 overall meetings dating back to the 2003 season. KC got the best of Pittsburgh in OT in the team’s most recent meeting back in 2009 as 10.5-point underdogs, but we hardly see this game going to an extra session this time around. With a hellacious schedule ahead of them, it’s only a matter of time until the Chiefs give up and start looking towards next season. The effort will be there, but KC just doesn’t have the manpower to compete for a full 60 minutes with a bruising Steelers outfit. Look for the Chiefs to drop their sixth straight ATS to a +.500 road team in a low scorer.
