Even though the passing game is what the Cardinals offense excels in (#13 at 240.5 YPG), it will be hard pressed to get much done against Ed Reed and his mates who have allowed an average of just 186.8 YPG (#4) through the air while picking off six passes.

Baltimore will not be in the best of moods heading into this one after putting forth a shockingly bad effort last Monday night in Jacksonville. The Ravens lost the turnover battle 2:1 and allowed the Jaguars inept offense to hold onto the ball for better than 60 percent of the game. QB Joe Flacco had a miserable outing as well completing just 55 percent of his passes for a paltry 137 yards with a TD/INT ratio of 1/1. After Ray Rice fumbled the ball deep in Jacksonville territory, he was more or less relegated to the bench after carrying the ball eight times for just 28 yards. The defense wasn’t up to snuff either allowing Maurice-Jones Drew to become the first running back to surpass the century mark against it this season.

Still, the Ravens went on the road earlier this season and laid an egg in Tennessee losing 26-13 as six-point favorites and followed it up with a complete dismantling of what’s turned out to be a pathetic St. Louis Rams outfit; Arizona isn’t much better! The Ravens have taken care of business for their NFL gambling lines backers in each of their three home games played on the year. They toppled Pittsburgh, the New York Jets and Houston Texans by an average of 20 PPG in those skirmishes. The Cardinals will be an enormous caliber drop for them.

NFL Gambling Prediction – This is a very interesting spot for the Ravens. They enter off an outright defeat on Monday Night Football – Baltimore is just 2-2 SU & ATS the L/4 times after playing on Monday night – and have a huge match-up with the hated Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday night. Will they overlook a Cardinals team they should bury, or will they look to make amends for their betting backers and keep their perfect SU & ATS marks at home intact? The feeling here is that the Ravens defense will simply be too much for the Cardinals one-dimensional offense to score on enough to stick within the number.
