WR Andre Johnson was already on the shelf for that game, and he won’t be back for this one in all likelihood either. The truth of the matter is that this is now a very, very average Houston team. Granted, this is still a team playing in a very weak division, but games like this one are going to be impossible to win.

The Ravens are fresh as daisies coming off of their bye week, and they are going to hope to utilize their amazing defense to make life difficult on QB Matt Schaub and company. This unit already has scored four touchdowns in as many weeks, and it also ranks No. 1 in the league in scoring allowed at just 14.2 points per game.

Offensively, you know that RB Ray Rice is going to be in for a big day. He is seemingly a shoe-in for at least 120 total yards of offense, and he is going to have his big time blocker behind him, FB Vonta Leach, a former member of the Texans. Houston has had all sorts of problems trying to stop running backs straight up the gut, though the unit did better last week against the potent 1/2 rushing combo of RB Darren McFadden and RB Michael Bush.

NFL Betting Picks – The Texans have never beaten the Ravens in franchise history, and we don’t see how that is changing this week. This one could be particularly ugly, as we think that Houston is in for a Texas-sized beat down against Baltimore who are 8-2 ATS its L/10 out of the bye.
