However, RB Ben Tate has been a worthy replacement, running for over 100 yards each of the last two weeks.

WR Kevin Walter could be back in the fold after sitting out last week with a collarbone injury, but things don’t look as promising for DB Johnathan Joseph, the team’s biggest free agent acquisition.

With or without Joseph, we know that the Saints aren’t going to have a problem spreading the ball all over the field. QB Drew Brees has three TD passes in each of his first two games, and he has to think that this is a solid forum for a third similar game. Brees also has only been sacked three times in two games, something that LB Mario Williams and LB Connor Barwin are going to try to change.

Defensively, there have been some real questions. Yes, this unit picked up six sacks last week against the Chicago Bears, but New Orleans has been prone to the big play, and if there is a reason why we wouldn’t want to make our NFL betting picks on it, that’s why.
