As for the offense, Houston has possibly both the best running back in the NFL when he is healthy in Arian Foster and the best backup running back in Ben Tate, who has rushed for 753 yards on a whopping 5.5 yards per carry in a fill-in role.

In fact, Houston ranks third in the NFL in rushing at 152.6 yards per game, and the only reason why they don’t lead the league is because the two teams ahead of them, the Denver Broncos and the Philadelphia Eagles, both accrue a ton of rushing yards from their quarterbacks. Also do not overlook the fact that Yates managed the game well in his first NFL start, passing for 188 yards without an interception vs. Atlanta.

Now the Bengals are 6-0 this season vs. sub-.500 teams, but they have lost to the Steelers twice on the NFL lines, as well as to the Ravens, 49ers and Broncos, so their 7-5 record is very deceptive. They have yet to step up vs. a quality team, and even with Yates at quarterback, this Houston squad could be the best team Cincinnati has faced yet. That makes the Texans basically an auto-play as underdogs in this Week 14 spot!
