It’s really tough to blow this Tampa Bay team out. Sure, the San Francisco 49ers did so, but that came after a long road trip on a short week after a tough Monday Night Football game. Aside from that, every game has finished within seven points, and Josh Freeman has made sure that his team has come out on the right end of four of those six close calls, including posting some great comebacks.

We also have to be reminded about the running back situation in this game. LeGarrette Blount missed the meeting of these two teams three weeks ago, and his backup, Earnest Graham had 109 yards on just 17 carries in his place. On top of that, one of New Orleans’ top rushers, Mark Ingram is going to miss this duel on the NFL betting odds, which will probably make this offense all the more one-dimensional.

In the end, Drew Brees will get his yards. After all, he has thrown for fewer than 325 yards just twice all year long. He’ll probably also get some touchdowns as well considering the fact that the Bucs and Rams are the only two teams to keep him to just one touchdown pass this year.

The real question though, is whether the Saints have the heart to finish off the Bucs. We just don’t know if that’s the case.

NFL Odds Predictions – Remember, Tampa Bay has won three out of four in the recent series and is 3-1 ATS to show for it. We fully expect to see this be another one of these games that comes right down to the wire, and we wouldn’t be shocked in the least to see Freeman celebrating on the turf of the Superdome when it’s said and done, as the Bucs will take the NFC South lead and sweep the season series from the Saints.
