The former USC Trojan barely completed half of his passes, and he quite frequently made terrible decisions against a Buffalo Bills defense that has been shredded throughout this year. Now, Sanchez has 18 TDs against 11 INTs on the season, but he is still only completing 56.3 percent of his passes.

The Jets need this game in a bad way. They know that they aren’t running down the New England Patriots atop the AFC East, but a win on Sunday would likely draw them even with the Cincinnati Bengals for the last Wild Card slot in the conference. A loss though, and it could take a perfect final four weeks of the season to even give this team a shot at making the postseason.

Meanwhile, the Redskins beat the NFL betting odds last week against the Seattle Seahawks for the first time since October 2nd. The truth of the matter is that the team has played a heck of a lot better ball with Rex Grossman under center than it ever did with John Beck.

Roy Helu had a nice week last week, rushing for over 100 yards, and he and the rest of his backfield mates could have a reasonably good day against a New York defense that just hasn’t been as good this year against the run as it has been against the pass.

NFL Odds Prediction – The Redskins have won four in a row and are 2-1-1 ATS in the last four games in this series dating back to 1996. We just don’t trust this New York team on the road this year, as its only win and only cover came against the struggling Buffalo Bills.
