It also hasn’t helped that the defense has given up an average of 28.6 PPG (#31).

The Raiders went into their bye last week a half-game in back of the San Diego Chargers, but with Philip Rivers and his mates falling on Monday Night in Kansas City, it’s now a three-horse race atop the division with all three teams checking in with 4-3 SU tallies. Coach Hue Jackson’s squad should be chomping at the bit to get back to business here after getting shutout at home by the Chiefs back in Week 7. Even more so for new QB Carson Palmer who hardly impressed in his Raiders debut.

Oakland possesses an extreme advantage offensively heading into these division rivals second NFL gambling odds tussle of the season. RB Darren McFadden already gouged the Broncos defense for 150 yards in both teams 2011 season opener, and now with the Raiders sporting a more competent field general, his rushing ability should open things up for Oakland’s WR’s to really take advantage of the Broncos weak link defensively.
