Neither the Vikings nor the Chiefs have found their way into the win column as of yet this year, but one of these two clearly looks to be primed to make for great NFL betting picks, while the other just doesn’t look like it has any hope whatsoever.

We’ll say a few decent things about the Chiefs. They did fight hard last week in a loss against the San Diego Chargers. The 20-17 loss was the closest defeat of the season, as prior to this, they were smacked 41-7 by the Buffalo Bills and 48-3 by the Detroit Lions.

One who would like to make their NFL picks and predictions on the Chiefs this week could justify that the schedule has been brutally hard, as the Bills, Lions, and Chargers are all division leaders. However, we still aren’t necessarily believers in any of these teams. The only truly quality victory that any of these teams have this year is the Buffalo win over the New England Patriots last week in a game that was just chock full of emotion for the hosts.

That being said, we’re wondering when on earth the Vikes are going to wake up and see a game all the way through the second half. They were knocked off by the same Chargers after taking a lead early on in Week 1, they successfully choked away a 17-0 halftime lead against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, and then couldn’t find a way to put away the aforementioned Lions in Week 3.

Needless to say, making NFL gambling picks on either of these two teams is going to be hard, but we do definitely see some talent in purple, and perhaps getting away from the Metrodome is just what the doctor ordered to get the job done.

RB Adrian Peterson has had three sturdy games, and he has busted off at least one 20+ yard run in each of his first three encounters. Meanwhile, the Kansas City offense, though it is coming off of its best game of the season, just doesn’t look all that sharp without RB Jamaal Charles.

NFL Betting Picks – Minnesota is clearly the better team in this game, and though home field advantage is usually worth quite a bit in the NFL, in this situation, we just don’t think it is going to matter.
