That being said, the one thing that we do know is that the Huskies need a victory to go bowling this year. A loss, and they finish up their season at 5-7 and out of the bowl picture, though a win will probably send them to one of the lower tiered Big East bowl games.

The big issue that Cincinnati has is the fact that it really doesn’t have much of an identity. Zach Collaros is out for the season with an ankle injury, and that leaves Munchie Legaux to call the shots. Legaux is only completing 49.4 percent of his passes, and has just two TDs and two picks. The team did score 30 points against the Syracuse Orange last week, but that was because of the defense that did a remarkable job.

The UConn offense only scored more than 28 points once in one tussle against the NCAA football gambling odds in the first three months of the season, and since that point, it has pulled off the feat against both Syracuse and last week against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Getting to 28 is going to be crucial against a Cincinnati defense that is only conceding 19.4 points per game.
