The Rams already have a win this year at the Utah State Aggies, a team that many think can win the WAC, Boise State’s former conference this year, and they have an offense that has scored at least 31 points in three of its last four games.

QB Pete Thomas has thrown for 1,089 yards and six TDs on the season, and we like his chances of helping the Rams beat the NCAA football wagering odds in this one.

The key to covering this number though, is going to be the CSU defense. This unit is only allowing 344.4 yards per game, just 176.0 of which are coming through the air. Even if Boise State accounts for 100 yards more passing and an average amount against the Rams on the ground, the hosts are going to be in good shape against a closing line this big.

NCAA Football Odds Predictions – Boise State is probably going to find the MWC at least slightly tougher than the WAC has been in recent years. That being said, it won’t struggle to win this one, but to ask it to win by five touchdowns on the road in its first conference game is just too much.
