The Auburn Tigers will have had two weeks to prepare for this non-divisional showdown with the Bulldogs after resting up on their bye last week; the defending National Champs are 3-1 SU & ATS following their L/4 off weeks. He should get a much stiffer challenge from an Auburn defense that’s excelled in defending the pass (#50 at 215 YPG), but as long as UGA’s potent ground attack (#43 at 175.6 YPG) is able to take advantage of the Tigers’ porous rush defense (#85 at 185.7 YPG), Georgia should be just fine here. To date, the Bulldogs are 3-1 SU and ATS as a host.

CFB Betting Prediction – Georgia possesses all the important stat advantages on both sides of the ball in this matchup; especially defensively! Auburn “Cam Newton-ed” the Dawgs in last year’s match-up to put an end to UGA’s four-game win streak in the recent series. Auburn might be 13-3 ATS its L/16 SEC tussles, but those three defeats have come this season against much better opposition and Georgia certainly fits into that category. The Dawgs have covered each of their L/4 at home and stand 6-2 ATS their L/8 as a chalk of 10.5-points or more.
