However, now that Manuel is back under center, things are looking a heck of a lot better. Over the course of the last three weeks, FSU has posted three romps, winning by 25 over the Duke Blue Devils, 25 over the Maryland Terrapins, and 34 in a shutout over the NC State Wolfpack.

If there is one glaring weakness for Florida State, it is the offensive line. This unit is very young and has been rather makeshift this year, which is why the running game hasn’t registered a single back above the 305 yards for DeVonta Freeman.

That being said, we just have no confidence right now in Boston College in spite of the fact that it went on the road last week and upset the Maryland Terrapins. This team hasn’t scored more than 28 points in a game against an FBS opponent in over three years, a stat that is truly telling.

The NCAA football betting odds also don’t lie about this team’s defense. Thanks to a banged up secondary, teams are putting up 252.2 yards per game against them through the air. That number isn’t good, but 169.5 yards per game on the ground isn’t much to write home about either.
