NCAAF Betting Online:
The Stanford Cardinal (9-0, 9-0 ATS) will look to put the cherry on top of their masterful CFB betting resume when they host the PAC-12 North rival Oregon Ducks (8-1, 5-3-1 ATS) on Saturday, November 12, 2011; kick-off from Stanford Stadium is set to go live on ABC at 8:00 ET.

The Oregon Ducks have done exactly what was needed for this game to set up as the biggest match-up of the PAC-12 season. Since falling to the now top ranked LSU Tigers 40-27 in their season opener, the Ducks have gone out and defeated each of their next eight opponents. Last week’s 34-17 domination of Washington in Husky Stadium was extremely impressive since the Huskies entered that game a perfect 5-0 SU & 4-1 ATS in its five home games played previously. The road win and cover improved head coach Chip Kelly’s squad to an unblemished 3-0 SU and against the closing CFB betting lines in their three true road games played to date.
For the Ducks to be able to keep up with the Cardinal’s potent offensive attack in this match-up, their ground attack will have to continue chewing up yardage at a breakneck pace. Oregon currently checks in as the nation’s 5th ranked rushing attack that’s rumbled to an average of 298.4 YPG at nearly seven YPC. Stanford has been rock solid in defending the run (#3 at 78.9 YPG), so it will be up to QB Darron Thomas to loosen the underbelly of that defense up by successfully attacking its weak link – through the air (#87 at 245.1 YPG). Oregon has averaged 40.5 PPG away from Eugene on the year.
Stanford has been the most impressive non SEC based team this season, as it has gone on to dismantle each and every one of its nine opponents both SU and against the closing number. The Cardinal’s pointspread success stretches back to last season, and they enter this Week 11 CFB betting odds conference clash a perfect 14-0-1 ATS their L/15 overall gridiron battles. Though two of his favorite targets, TE Levine Toilolo and WR Chris Owusu, went down with injuries last week at Oregon State, it was still another walk in the park for QB Andrew Luck and the Cardinal offense who racked up 507 yards of total offense in the 38-13 road win and cover.
Make no mistake, Luck is not the only reason this offense ranks out amongst the best in the country. Without the services of Stepfan Taylor and a host of others out of the backfield, this unit would be much easier to defend. With them all in the mix, Stanford checks in with the nation’s 8th ranked overall offense (505.8 YPG) and 3rd ranked scoring offense (48.2 PPG). Though the defense has proven it will give up points against top tier offenses, it’s still allowed an average of just 324 YPG (#18) and just 16.6 PPG (#11).
CFB Betting Prediction – This is going to be a good one! Two of the best offenses college football has to offer will take to the field on Saturday night. Oregon will look to pound the pigskin down Stanford’s throat, while Andrew Luck and the Cardinal offense will administer more of a balanced attack. Each of these teams L/6 meetings has sailed ‘over’ the closing number, and we don’t expect tonight to be any different. The ‘over’ is 21-8 the L/29 times the Ducks allowed less than 20 points their previous game, and it’s 19-7 the L/26 times the Cardinal cracked skulls with a +.500 opponent. Expect points to be put on the board in bunches in this spot!
