With their de-facto bowl game against Stanford now in the rearview mirror with nothing left to play for this season except bragging rights, one has to question the Trojans’ mind frame heading into this match-up under the Friday Night Lights. Though head coach Lane Kiffin’s kids gave 4th ranked Stanford their stiffest challenge of the 2011 season last Saturday night, the three OT thriller still saw them fall both SU & ATS when they couldn’t match the Cardinal’s TD + two-point conversion in the third and final stanza.
