Alot has been heard about this tournament which is the oldest one and has the most rich in tradition on and off the court, players like Federer, Sharapova and many more will be travelling from France to England to play on grass and some will try to make history winning another Grand Slam Tournament.

In june 22nd all roads lead to The All England Lawn Tennis Club in London. The most famous and old grand slam tournament of the World takes place in this location and a lot of people are getting ansy to see the ATP and WTA stars facing eachother fro a spot in history.

Roger Federer already considered the BEST TENNIS PLAYER of all times is ready to win the tournament one more time with his new found breathe that took him to victory yesterday in France. His game has improved and so has his attitude, all he needs is a little patience and it will get to him like it used to when he was the No.1 player of the World. Rafael Nadal doesn’t know if he will be defending the title this year, his knee is not well and he feels he’s not ready for such a commitment, may be he will be able to do something about it but the official announcement will be made later on. This will leave the door open for players like Djokovic, Del Potro, Murray playing at home, Soderling and of course Federer which I think we will be watching him at the finals.

Former Wimbledon Champ Maria Sharapova is ready as well, after her injury last year and 11 months of rehab she is eager to prove that not all in her is beauty, that she can win in the best and worst conditions and she naturally feels at home playing in grass, this might be an opportunity to jump back to the first positions in the WTA ranking. Safina (No.1 womens’ tennis player) is up to the task after a terrible meltdown in Paris she feels the need to win this one and justifies her position to everyone. The Williams sisters will be there and that presents a great challenge to the rest and I insist it will be a great performance by the Women.

Predictions at this point will be tough since Nadal is unknown at this point but if everything remains as it is right now Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova will win once more adding another title in there incredible careers.

This will be the second GRAND SLAM tournament of the year, and the surface will be clay so that will make things a little more interesting now that Nadal obviously the favorite just lost at Madrid against his rival Roger Federer.

Rafael Nadal had an impressive record with no losses on clay for almost 3 years but Roger Federer just proved to the World that Nadal is just human, he can be beaten and Djokovic and Murray will be right around the corner too, these players have great quality and technic and they all have great chances to win it all.

Roger Federer has lost the last three finals here but he has been training hard, he will need to use all the tricks in the book to be able to beat Rafa, in Madrid he showed us that playing “outside the box” might be the way to beat an almost unbeatable player, learning new tricks is out of the question but may be the old ones will do just fine, all Federer has to do is play tough, quick, easy and finish his games faster than the rest, that will be the key.

Rafa Nadal will play the first round against Marcos Daniel from Brazil, that will be a no brainer, Nadal In 3 straight sets. Federer will face Alberto Martin from Spain, this will be an regular match for Federer and he will win without a problem.

The biggest challenges Nadal will face in the road to the finals are Nikolay Davydenko (10) from Russia and Fernando Verdasco (8) from Spain. Federer’s biggest threat will be Andy Roddick (6) from USA but he has been able to defeat him in every surface so it will be just another little bump on the road, nothing to be concerned.

Novak Djokovic (4) from Serbia will be the player to watch, all he needs to do is control his anger thru the tournament and he will do just fine. He managed to forced Nadal to a 3 set intense game and he almost defeated the greatest tennis player on clay ever, he just missed his chance by a hook, this might be a great opportunity to show what he’s really made of.

Andy Murray (3) from Great Britain is too young for this surface, he doesn’t have the experience to win it all, he might go far but not as far, I don’t see him as the champ.

The biggest surprise in this tournament without a question will be Juan Martin Del Potro (5) from Argentina, he has been playing great and he has the same technic as the great Nadal, we will be able to see great things from him although he might not make the semis but who knows, may be he will …

MY PREDICTION WILL BE A FINAL BETWEEN NADAL AND FEDERER AND ROGER FEDERER WILL DEFEAT NADAL IN 5 SETS ENDING A LONG LASTING DOMAIN FROM THE SPANISH PLAYER AT THE CITY OF LIGHTS.

The French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga defeated this Sunday 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 the Argentinean David Nalbandian to win the crown of the Paris Masters andclassify for the Masters Cup season finale.

Tosonga, the world’s number 13th, secured his second title of the season and he became the first French since Sebastien Grosjean in the 2001 who won the indoor tournament in the Bercy sand.

Nalbandian resigned the title that conquered the last year when leaving a ball in the net, after waste three break balls that had made level the 5-5 last set.

I believe that they all contributed to my victory, I dedicate it to all of you, said Tsonga, 2nd place of the Australian Open at the beginning of the year, when talking to his compatriots.

This closes a great season for me. I played very well and the extra bonus is that I will go to Shanghai, added.

Nalbandian praised to Tsonga: He is an excellent player and he had a shiny week. He gained the title well.

The Argentinean needed the triumph to accede to the Masters Cup in Shanghai, starting on November 9th. Now he is going to concentrate himself in the end of the Davis Cup, in whom Argentina will do of the premises against Spain between November 21st and 23rd.

Tsonga broke Nalbandian’s serve to be ahead 2-1 in the definitive Set, and soon it raised a break ball in the sixth game thanks to an ace.

Nalbandian did not hide his frustration when whipping his racket in the eighth game, but he maintained his game when defending his serve in ninth inning and soon he had 0-40 in the following one. But the French erased the three break points, nailed an ace to put him in front of a match point and defined it to won the cup.
