NCAA Football Betting Odds
North Carolina Tar Heels (+4.5) -110
Missouri Tigers (-4.5) -110
Over/Under 52.5

North Carolina and Missouri really look like similar teams this year. Both went 7-5 SU and both really underachieved in their own conferences. They both suffered some tough losses and couldn’t capitalize to make for great NCAA football betting picks, and as a result, these two teams are playing in a significantly lesser bowl game than both would have wanted considering the fact that both were hoping to stay in contention for their conference titles.

The Tar Heels are going to welcome in Larry Fedora when this game is over with, and he is going to have a heck of a lot to work with. QB Bryn Renner had a great year in Chapel Hill, throwing for 2,769 yards and 23 TDs against a dozen picks. Sure, he has turned the ball over a lot, but also in many games this year, he was able to make up for his mistakes and put some points on the board.

The only real game of concern is the loss on the NCAA football betting odds against the NC State Wolfpack. On that day, the Heels got shut out 13-0, but aside from that, the team scored over 31 points per game.

Mizzou has a ton of potential to put points on the board in bunches. The unit has underachieved just a bit in these last few weeks, scoring 24 against a bad Kansas Jayhawks defense, 31 against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who routinely gave up 40+ in conference games this year, and 17 against the Texas Longhorns.

Still, as a unit that averaged 32.2 points per game this year against a very tough schedule with a lot of close calls, we have all of the confidence in the world in QB James Franklin and the gang to compete on the NCAA football betting odds.

NCAA Football Betting Pick – Bowl games are typically great times to bet ‘overs’, and this is no exception. Sure, both teams have leaned more towards the ‘under’ of late, but they both were a very average 6-6 versus the ‘total’ on the season. The ‘over’ has gone 7-3 in Missouri’s last 10 out of conference games, while UNC is 4-1 towards the ‘over’ in its last five neutral site games – This one shouldn’t be the exception!

Beating the NCAA Football betting lines can be a snap, but only if you’ve got the right sportsbook at your fingertips. College Football Lines – Triple Options Collide as GT Faces Air Force in Independence Bowl

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

Whether you prefer to bet on college football lines with mobile betting or on the internet, Bookmaker Sportsbook is your one stop shop for the entire 2010 NCAA football betting campaign, including for this duel between the Air Force Falcons and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the Independence Bowl.

NCAAF Betting Online: The bowl season kicks off at the Independence Bowl for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as they take on the college football lines against the Air Force Falcons at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, LA. Kickoff on Monday, December 27th is set for 5:00 ET in a nationally televised tussle on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com.

The Yellow Jackets had a chance to win the ACC Coastal Division this year, but Josh Nesbitt broke his arm, and the offense was just never the same again after that point. This unit only averaged 24.7 points per game over its final three games of the year, and this is why G-Tech limped to a 1-2 finish against the college football lines.

Tevin Washington took over and didn’t play that well, throwing for 376 yards and rushing for 383 more, accounting for six TDs against two picks. However, he only completed 41.7 percent of his passes and was never able to at least instill a threat of a passing game.

This was the No. 1 rushing offense in the land this year, and it is amazing what could have been had Nesbitt avoided the injury bug and had Jonathan Dwyer not left school early to go into the NFL Draft. Anthony Allen capitalized, rushing for 1,225 yards and six TDs in a fantastic season.

Air Force is missing one of the catalysts in its triple option attack as well, as Jared Tew is unlikely to play in the Independence Bowl due to a broken fibula. Still, the play of Asher Clark and Tim Jefferson Jr. was more than good enough for the Falcons to finish third in the Mountain West and in a position where they could beat the college football lines enough for sports betting fans to remain happy.

Jefferson rushed for 769 yards and 15 TDs, and he threw for 1,342 yards and ten more scores. Clark had 1,001 yards and five TDs on the ground.

The only reason the Falcons really struggled this year was because their schedule was very, very tough. The easiest games of the season all came at the end, and road games against the Oklahoma Sooners, San Diego State Aztecs, and TCU Horned Frogs, plus a home game with the Utah Utes, just proved to be too much to overcome. Against the rest of the schedule though, Air Force went a perfect 8-0.

The Independence Bowl college football lines feature Air Force favored by three points with a total of 56. Without Nesbitt in the fold, the Jackets have just looked absolutely atrocious all season long, and it’s going to be very, very hard to come down and play at the Independence Bowl for this team just one year after being in the BCS. A very good Air Force team perseveres on the 27th!

Bookmaker Sportsbook can handle all of your NCAA football betting needs this year with the best college football lines on the internet from now through the BCS Championship Game.
