In his first season at the helm, UO went 10-3 SU and went on to face Ohio State in the Rose Bowl where it ultimately fell 26-17 as four-point college football gambling favorites. Oregon was average at best defensively giving up 383.2 YPG (#59) and 23.6 PPG (#48), but the time off will have allowed some of its injured impact players to get healthy for this game.
