Both the Wisconsin Badgers (11-2, 8-5 ATS) and Oregon Ducks (11-2, 6-6-1 ATS) will be in search of Rose Bowl victories in return trips to the college football gambling big game on Monday, January 2, 2012; kick-off from Pasadena is set to go live on ESPN & ESPN3.com at 5:00 ET.

NCAA Football Betting Odds
Wisconsin Badgers (+6) -110
Oregon Ducks (-6) -110
Over/Under 71.5

Badgers head coach Brett Bielema and his staff have been here before – a 10+ win season resulting in a trip to the Rose Bowl. Sound familiar? Well, it should since Wiscy found itself in this exact same position a year ago after compiling an 11-1 SU regular season effort before matching wits with the undefeated TCU Horned Frogs in Pasadena. The Badgers came up just short falling 21-19 but covered the closing college football gambling line as three-point underdogs. This time around, Wiscy won 11 of its 13 games played which included an exhilarating come-from-behind triumph over Michigan State in the first ever Big 10 championship game.

While the Badgers offense once again butters its bread with a potent ground attack, a veteran presence now looks over everything in the form of QB Russell Wilson – he threw for 2879 yards, averaged better than a 1st down per every pass attempt (10.14 Y/A), and threw a whopping 31 TDs to just three interceptions in what will be his only year as QB1 in Madison. Wisconsin certainly has the ability to match points with the Ducks (#4 at 44.6 PPG), but the teams overall ability to win this game will reside solely on the defensive side of the ball with the Badgers having proven to give up their fair share of points against excelled offenses. Wisconsin split its only four true road games (1-3 ATS), but did throttle the Northern Illinois Huskies in their only neutral field battle (49-7).

Since taking over the reins in Eugene, the Ducks’ program has experienced nothing but success under the watchful eye of head coach Chip Kelly and his staff. In his first season at the helm, UO went 10-3 SU and went on to face Ohio State in the Rose Bowl where it ultimately fell 26-17 as four-point college football gambling favorites. The following year, the “Quack Attack” won all 12 of their regular season contests and earned the right to face off against Cam Newton and the Auburn Tigers in the BCS National Championship Game. Though it fell by a 22-19 final score, the Ducks were one of the few teams that really gave the Tigers a major run for their money.

With only 11 starters returning from that team, Oregon went on to win 10 of its 12 regular season contests to punch its ticket to the inaugural Pac-12 Championship Game where it toyed with the UCLA Bruins in its own backyard (49-31). Their fast-paced and quick strike offensive attack was once again one of the best in the country as it racked up an average of 515.2 YPG (#6) and an average of 46.2 PPG (#3). QB Darron Thomas was exceptional throwing for 2493 yards and sported a 30/6 TD/INT ratio, but outdoing him was junior RB LaMichael James who rushed for 1646 yards on 7.4 YPC and hit pay dirt 17 times. Oregon was average at best defensively giving up 383.2 YPG (#59) and 23.6 PPG (#48), but the time off will have allowed some of its injured impact players to get healthy for this game.

College Football Gambling Prediction – This has all the makings of a truly special game! Statistically, Wisconsin possesses an extreme advantage defensively while both offenses are some of the best units college football has to offer. Oregon will however look to attack the Badgers’ weakness which just so happens to be in defending the run (#46 at 138 YPG), so look for James to have another stellar outing. That said; the QB edge goes to Wiscy and Wilson has a fabulous bowling ball coming out of the backfield himself in the form of Montee Ball. Wisconsin has covered five of its L/7 when installed a bowl game underdog, while the Ducks check in 1-4 ATS versus the L/5 Big Ten opponents they’ve faced. With that the case, look for a third straight fantastic regular season effort put forth by Oregon to go up in flames in the season finale – Wiscy outright!

Wisconsin Badgers NCAA Football Lines VS NCAA Football TCU Horned Frogs Pick Betting Picks

College Football Online – Wisconsin Badgers Looks to Uphold Rose Bowl Standards Against Invading TCU Horned Frogs.

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

College football online betting fans are heading into the bowl season this week! Are you ready to bet on the clash between the TCU Horned Frogs and Wisconsin Badgers? Don’t miss a moment of the action, at Bookmaker Sportsbook, as we are the outlet for you!

NCAAF Betting Online: Enjoy mobile betting with college football online for this great encounter on Saturday, January 1st at 5:00 ET from the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, CA between the TCU Horned Frogs and the Wisconsin Badgers. The Rose Bowl can be seen nationally on ESPN and ESPN3.com.

The Horned Frogs are certainly not the traditional Pac-10 school that college football online fans are used to seeing in this New Year’s Day classic, but they have certainly earned their spot in this game as one of the top teams in the nation. There is an outside shot that an incredibly impressive performance might earn TCU a share of the BCS National Championship, but in all likelihood, winning would keep this team at No. 2, the best finish in school history.

This was a team that simply dominated on both sides of the ball this year, something that was expected even though the Mountain West was probably tougher than many thought it would be this season. TCU averaged over double the yards of its foes, winning this battle 490.8 to 215.4 yards per game, while it scored almost four times the points.

Head Coach Gary Patterson and college football online bettors loved the fact that this team ranked No. 1 in the land both in total defense and in scoring. However, this is going to be the biggest test of the season for sure.

Wisconsin’s power rushing game might be the best of its kind in the country. Though the team only ranked No. 12 in rushing at 248.8 yards per game this year, it could still become the second team in the history of college football (potentially the third if the Nebraska Cornhuskers pull off the feat earlier in the bowl season) to have three men rush for at least 1,000 yards.

This was a Badgers offense that college football online bettors fell in love with at the end of the year. Not only did they score at least 31 points in their final seven games of the season, but they scored 70+ points three times on the year, tops in the land.

The Rose Bowl college football online betting odds feature the Horned Frogs getting the nod by three points. The ‘total’ has been set at 58.5. TCU just has to win this game if it wants to make a big statement for mid majors this year. The Badgers are beatable, just as the Michigan State Spartans proved earlier this year, and if the purple and black defense is as good as advertised, it can win this game by a big time margin.
