College Football Betting Lines
Michigan State Spartans (+3.5) -110
Georgia Bulldogs (-3.5) -110
Over/Under 50

Last year, if you made your college football bowl picks on the Spartans, you were quite unhappy, as they were blown out of the water by the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Capital One Bowl. As the runners up in the Big Ten Championship Game this year, Michigan State returns to the Sunshine State, and it means that it is going to have its work cut out for it once again.

This Georgia team probably isn’t quite as good as that Crimson Tide squad was, but there is no doubt that it has been one of the hottest teams in the league. The Bulldogs had won 10 in a row after starting off 0-2 SU on the season, and though they were beaten by the LSU Tigers in the SEC Championship Game, there is definitely nothing to be ashamed of this season.

This was the best year that a Bulldogs quarterback has had in the history of the school. Aaron Murray was the reason why this team made for great college football betting picks this year. He threw for 2,861 yards and completed 58.8 percent of his passes, and though those numbers are a bit pedestrian, he threw for 33 TDs against just 12 picks.

Michigan State’s offense was sneaky good this year under Kirk Cousins. He got Sparty on a roll in the second half of the season, scoring at least 31 points in the squad’s final five games of the year after getting blown away by the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the cornfields of Lincoln.

On the injury front, keep tabs on Richard Samuel and Isaiah Crowell for UGA. These two are the backs that are going to be on display against the MSU defense, and they are both questionable in this one with ankle injuries.

College Football Betting Pick – These two teams have played in two bowl games before, and in both, Georgia came away with victories. Add that to the fact that the Dawgs are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall and parlay in Michigan State’s bowl blunder last season, and it is clear which side that we want to make our college football Outback Bowl picks on. The Bulldogs should bark loudly on January 2nd!

2011 Outback Bowl Florida Vs Penn St Odds and Predictions

NCAAF Florida Gators Betting Predictions VS NCAA Football Penn State Nittany Lions Odds

College Football Betting Odds – Meyer Leaves Florida Gators After Outback Bowl Against Penn State Nittany Lions.

Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.

Analyzing the college football betting odds is our specialty here at Bookmaker Sportsbook, especially when we get into the bowl campaign! The Florida Gators and Penn State Nittany Lions square off in an important affair at the Outback Bowl that NCAA football betting fans from across the country are going to gather around to see.

NCAAF Betting Online: The Outback Bowl will be played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, FL on Saturday, January 1st at 1:00 ET. If you’re looking to tackle the college football betting odds with betting on the go during the bowl season, you’ll love this clash between the Florida Gators and the Penn State Nittany Lions, one that is televised nationally on ABC.

The Nittany Lions are coming into this one trying to make a real statement for the start of the 2011 campaign. There was never a doubt that the college football betting odds were stacked against this team in the rough and tumble Big Ten, especially when you consider the fact that the Alabama Crimson Tide were on the schedule as well.

Matthew McGloin threw for 1,337 yards and 13 TDs in his limited time as the starting quarterback for this team, replacing the freshman that started the season, Robert Bolden. Derek Moye was the top receiver for the team at 806 yards and seven scores.

The biggest disappointment was the play of Evan Royster, whom many thought could be a Heisman Trophy candidate this year. Royster rushed for just 916 yards and six TDs in his senior season. Though his numbers slacked just a bit, Royster still broke the record for rushing yards in a career for the Nittany Lions.

Florida is about to face the end of an era in this duel against the college football betting odds, as Head Coach Urban Meyer is retiring after the conclusion of the game. He guided the Gators to two National Championships, but this has been a horrifyingly disappointing season in the post-Tim Tebow era.

John Brantley just never really got going this season, and it is very, very clear that he is no Tim Tebow. Brantley guided an offense that averaged just 363.8 yards per game this year. Scoring 29.2 points per game was well below what the blue and orange are used to, especially knowing that the team was held to 14 or fewer points on four separate occasions.

Though the defense ended up averaging allowing 294.8 yards per game, there were some awful games. Five of the L/7 tussles against the college football betting odds ended with the Gators giving up at least 30 points.

If you’re looking for the college football betting odds in this one, you’ll find that UF is the chalk by 7.5 points. The ‘total’ has been lined at 48. Last year, the Nittany Lions were able to pull off a great upset in the Capital One Bowl, and we don’t see why this year can’t be an exception. The Gators will try their best and might end up pulling off the victory, but we’ll certainly take the 7.5 point head start with JoPa’s boys from the Big Ten.

The bowl season is officially here, and Bookmaker Sportsbook is your one stop shop for all of the gambling action you desire. Take your best shot at beating the college football betting odds with us this winter!
