College Football Betting Lines
Western Michigan Broncos (+2) -110
Purdue Boilermakers (-2) -110
Over/Under 60.5
Western Michigan got a raw deal last year, getting left out of a bowl game in spite of the fact that it had a winning record in the MAC. This year though, with so many teams in the main conferences failing to reach a 6-6 mark, the Broncos have found their way to a great bowl game here in MoTown.
The Broncos can throw the ball like it is no one’s business! QB Alex Carder threw for 3,434 yards and 28 TDs against 10 INTs this year, and he is sure to be the difference maker in this game. However, he did separate his throwing shoulder a few weeks ago, though it shouldn’t keep him out of this game in all likelihood.
Carder also has a great target in WR Jordan White to throw the pigskin to. He helped WMU make for great college football betting picks this year by leading the nation with 128 receptions, 1,646 yards, and 16 TDs. He will surely get the ball thrown his way at least a dozen times in this game, and if the Boilers aren’t careful, he could blow this game wide open all by himself.
We just aren’t all that impressed with what Purdue did this season. The team does have a pair of rock solid wins, a victory at home against the Illinois Fighting Illini (before they totally fell apart at the seams) and a win at home over the Ohio State Buckeyes. However, the team only covered as college football odds picks once away from home, and their 33-25 win on the final Saturday of the regular season at the Indiana Hoosiers was their only outright triumph. To make matters worse, it also had a road loss at the lowly Rice Owls.
Adding insult to injury, RB Ralph Bolden, the team’s leading rusher, suffered a knee injury in the regular season finale against IU, and he isn’t likely to play in this game. Without Bolden, the team is losing its best offensive weapon for the No. 39 ranked rushing attack in the game.
College Football Betting Pick – On top of this, Purdue has been absolutely atrocious in bowl games, going winless ATS in its last four. It is also 1-5 ATS in its last six games against the MAC. This won’t change after Christmas either, as we expect to see the Broncos make the most of their chance in the Little Caesars Bowl and earn the program its first ever postseason win.

2010 Little Caesars Bowl Toledo Vs Florida Intl Odds and Predictions
College Football Vegas Odds – Panthers in First Bowl versus Toledo in Little Caesars Bowl
Written by North Shore Sports, Inc.
Betting on the go for the college football Vegas odds couldn’t be any easier than it is this bowl season at Bookmaker Sportsbook! The duel we are keying in on today is the Little Caesars Bowl between the Toledo Rockets and the Florida International Golden Panthers.
NCAAF Betting Online: The Toledo Rockets and the Florida International Golden Panthers are ready to have at it in the Little Caesars Bowl on Sunday, December 26th at 8:30 ET. This game from Ford Field in Detroit, MI can be seen nationally on ESPN and ESPN3.com, and is certainly a bowl battle that you won’t want to miss our analysis of the college football Vegas odds here at Bookmaker Sportsbook.
The Golden Panthers have clearly had their greatest season ever under Head Coach Mario Cristobal, whom many think is headed for the University of Miami after this one is over with. This team clearly beat the college football Vegas odds for the majority of the season and captured the Sun Belt in most improbable fashion, beating the heavily favored Troy Trojans on the road to get into the driver’s seat.
FIU was transformed this year thanks to the play of Mississippi State transfer Wesley Carroll. Carroll threw for 2,483 yards in 2010 and really solidified a quarterback position that was very much so suspect leading up to this point. The Golden Panthers scored 28.3 points per game this year, easily the most in team history. Now, they are headed for their first bowl game full of gusto.
The Rockets were very, very fortunate to be picked for this game, as they really could have been left home just as the 8-4 Temple Owls were. However, this was a team that did play relatively well down the stretch, even though the schedule wasn’t really all that tough. There are no wins to speak of against bowl teams this year, save for a 20-13 upset at the Ohio Bobcats way back on September 11th.
Austin Dantin has been sidelined for the better part of the last month and a half, and once again, it will be Terrance Owens that leads the troops on the field and tries to beat the college football Vegas odds the day after Christmas. Owens threw for 1,112 yards and a dozen TDs against just two picks in his limited action this year in relief of Dantin. He’ll be helped on the ground quite a bit by Adonis Thomas, who needs 95 more yards to reach 1,000 for the season.
The college football Vegas odds in the Little Caesars Bowl features the Rockets favored by 1½ points, while the ‘total’ has been set at 56. The Sun Belt usually does very, very well in this type of a setting, and this game is going to be no exception whatsoever. It just means far too much for the Golden Panthers to let down in this one, and they’ll finish above .500 for the first time in school history with a ‘W’ in Motown.
