The biggest Looser 3rd week

Both teams were all geared up and ready to go.  Ken from the red team a phone call that his son had been admitted to ICU and people were just not in good moods after that call.  Ken stayed positive on the situation and kept on trucking “GO KEN”.
Both teams had arrived on the beach driving nice sweet classic sports cars “can I drive”. Once they had gotten there, they all realized they were going to work HARD. Bob and Kim had their teams doing everything from getting down on and crawling in the sand to lifting heavy items.
They ran across the beach to see what was waiting for them and it was sand castles! Now each castle had either carrot stick, candy bar or an immunity card hidden in it. The teams had to dig to find the immunity card. Both teams felt pretty much the same way and just both walked away and wanted to earn it.  “yaaaaaaa”  They returned back and kim and bob were very happy.
The teams were faced with another challenge; the winning team was allowed to receive a care package from their families back home. After almost an hour of piling wet sand from the beach, Nelson accidentally jumped on Wylie’s shoulder, causing an injury. Nelson was sure funny on all his falling down parts, but Red Team still won the and got to open up the packages.  It was very emotional for all of them as some cried and some cried even more.
The Blue Team was very disappointed in them selves for losing the challenge – they really wanted to win it, but so did the red team.  Bob wanted them to move forward and be determined at the weigh in. They went to the gym and got there work-out on and got rid of all that frustrations they had in them.
Since the Red Team won the last challenge, they got to choose somebody on the Blue Team to remove for the weigh in. They had chosen Erik, because he had lost a lot of weight this week – they didn’t want his weight loss to be the Blue Team’s gain. Erik was a good choice, because he lost 16 pounds!
Melinda had lost only four pounds during her weigh in. she smiled but was a little disappointed with the small number. Bobby was the last person to get on the scale for the Blue Team. They were nervous about how much weight they had lost until it was revealed that Bobby had shed a total of 12 pounds! It was official: Bobby was no longer in the 300-pound range anymore.
The Blue Team was celebrating because they had lost a total of 55 pounds and a grand total of 3.34% of weight loss. Keeping in mind the team with the highest percentage of weight loss would be the one who won the challenge.
Pam was the first member of the Red Team to get weighed. She was a nervous wreck. When she found out she’d lost six pounds, she was very happy. But at the same time, she confided to the team that she wished her family were there to see how much weight she was losing.
The Blue Team begin to act a little nervous when they noticed how successful the Red Team was – especially when Nelson got on the scale and he’d lost a total of 15 pounds! The Red Team was ecstatic.
Kai was happy, she lost 12 pounds, and her entire team was happy for that. Ken had lost a total of 20 pounds “WOW” at his weigh in, and the red team wins the weigh-in challenge. Ken started to cry because he thought of his son in intensive care and wanted to make him proud. In the end, the Red Team lost a total of 79 pounds, or 4.60% weight loss.
Because Marty had the highest percentage of weight loss from the Blue Team, he was granted immunity so he is safe when it comes time for elimination.
Kim returned in the morning to see how her team had done and they were going to play a joke on her, but couldn’t hold it in.  Kim was sooooooo happy.  Bob was a little upset because they had worked so hard but Bob as always motivates to stay strong.
Tiffany was the one that got sent home, but she was a good sport and understood why.  She did promise everyone that she will continue her weight loss program would never give up.  YOU GO GIRL!!!

Dr. Phil – Un-married couples

The update on yesterdays show:  Here are the three couples that were aired on Dr. Phil and there boyfriends.  Tony and Mary have been dating for 12 years, and have been engaged for eight. Mary wants to set a date to get married, but Tony is saying even after all the years he has been with Mary, he still is not ready and to set a date and he feels pressured to tie the knot.  Tony has been married twice and both marriages ended up in divorce.  He has a big fear of getting married and fears he will lose his independence.  Mary feels that he is stringing her along and will never marry her, but Tony is stuck on his ways and fears.  Who knows what will happened to this couple if they will marry or not, but they are happy together.

Rosanna has been with her boyfriend, Dennis, for almost five years now and state’s she’s is tired of living together and wants to get married. Dennis is saying that he told Rosanna from the start he didn’t want to get married.  When Rosanna moved in with Dennis she had high hopes of him asking her to marry her and moving in was the first step in doing so.  She would leave wedding planners around magazines and jewelry catalogs and Dennis either makes a joke about it or ignores it.

I think she is pressuring him and women should never pressure a man it will only drive them away.  If the guy was up-front about the situation from the get go and told her that, she should have realized that he might not change his mind.  Will this couple ever get engaged or will they stay the same.  Tune in next time for an update on them.

Dancing with the stars

Tuesday 19th – Boy, were the comments out that night.  There was sure some good sexy dancing last night and those outfits WOW I say WOW.  I love all those outfits and the way the move when they dance and the guys looked very handsome especially my favorite Mario.  Well it was surprised to see that Shanna Moakler and Jessie DeSoto got the BOOT.  I thought it would have been Jerrys Springer or Harry Hamlin but they got saved and still in the game.  It’s down to the following contestants!! Who will be the winner and take all? Van Amstel, partner of Monique Coleman, Len’s comment made stating they had chemistry of an autopsy. Ouch, but could need just need to add a little more sexy to it.  Let’s see some spice in your dancing.

Harry Hamlin, has a birthday coming up in October and is going to be 55 years old.  Wow he looks really good for his age.  His dancing last night was better then the week before so let’s see what he is made out of for the rest of the season.

Emmitt Smith, is doing better but still needs to loosen up a bit.  Cheryl his partner feels he is doing better and still needs a little more practice, but he is lots of fun.  Maybe if they can stay in one general area instead of traveling they would have more time and not be so tired all the time.  Let your self loose Emmitt, and just get giggy with it.  He is great on the field and is holding his own on the dance floor.  You go boy!!!!!!!!!!

Vivica Fox, wow girl! Gosh, you can sure move.  I just love her dancing and her quick hip moves.  I think Vivica and her partner Nick Kosovich will be in the top 3.  They are really good.

Sara Evans, still in the game and is getting better.  Monique Coleman, nice moves but not my favorite.  Joey Lawrence much better last night.  Mario as always nice nice nice.  Willa Ford still in the game after stating she would be in the bottom 2, she is still in the game.  Tune in next Tuesday 26th for some more great dancing and wondeful outfits.

Dancing with the stars

Wednesday 27th – What a night it was.  The critic’s comments were good but the FANS comments o my they are some good stuff.  Let’s start with Miss Willa Ford, now her comments made against the other constants were not cool at all and she really has no room to talk since she SUCKS at her dancing and her singing.  Her comments made “I don’t have 4 Superbowl Rings”, “I don’t have any Oscars”‘ and “I don’t have any country music awards.” What does that tell you WILLIA!!! She sounds like a baby.

Sara Evans – I love her music and her performance last night was WONDERFUL.  She had creativity and she stepped it up and got noticed.  Way to go Sara.  The Fans comments, here we go again – Well lets start off with they called her a FAT COW “wow’ a little harsh and she is not fat she looked great.  Other comments made: OMG!!! How in the world can the republican party’s poster girl dance with her axs and t:ts ( o )( o ) hanging out?? I didn’t think she looked like a hoochie mama in her outfit nice and she was covered up nicely.

Vivian Fox:  She didn’t look as good as last week.  She kind of looked like she was learning it as she was going and Vivian even had some tears going last night to.  Fans say she was good last night and some say she was not that good.

Mario Lopez:  He is still my favorite and still can dance good! The critic’s say he is breaking too many rules and should stay within the guidelines, but come on now breaking the rules makes it interesting and challenging.  Here are a few comments from the fans out there: Mario owes an apology to the show, the audience, the judges and most of all, the dance! His level of disrespect shows him to be completely without honor! “Get a life”

Mario did nothing wrong and made no bad comments he just took it and said okay.  I think there are some player haters out there.  The guy can dance and that’s the bottom line and I think he will take it.

Joey is always good and stays safe, but last night he did break some rules along with Mario but the dancing was good.  Jerry Springer is still in the game and I just don’t like the dancing, but his fans do follow him as he is the king of talk show drama cracking.  “Jerry Jerry Jerry” lol.

Emmitt Smith is still as gracefully as ever, but looked a little off like some of the others did.  Monique and Louis – WOW she was great.  Especially when she ran full throttle at him and jumped into his arms.  I mean WOW.

Most of the fan’s of the show the majority of the votes are between Mario “my favorite” and Monique.  It’s going to be close!! Tune in tonight for the results and who gets the boot.  I hope its Willia.

Dr. Phil – Can this marriage be saved

What an episode yesterday was 9-25-06 on Dr. Phil on married couples hitting rock bottom.  This couple Todd and Jessica have some issues that are unbelievable, in the name calling and being done in front of the kids.  Watching the show and listening to the Jessica’s comments we all knew she was having an affair on her husband and just would not admit to it.  The problem lied there and her husband knew what was going on and wanted her to confess on it, but she wouldn’t and made matters worse.  If she would have been honest and through of those kids in the first place, they just might have been able to fix it.  They are trying to work things out with the help of Dr. Phil and hopefully they will do well and save the family and give the kids a chance to be happy.

This dilemma continues next Monday 10-2-06 and it’s going to be a GOOD one.  On this episode she is going to confront her husband in admitting to the affair and that it’s not the only one she has had since they been married.  On top of that O boy “The mother-in-law” is up in the mix now and she said she was going to tear Jessica apart.  WOW heavy words mother-in-law.  Stay tune for the update on this issue next Monday.

Tuesday 26th on Dr. Phil ladies that have been engaged for years and still the man has not set a date for marriage.  Now come on Men what do you have to be afraid about, if you have been engaged to the same girl for 8 years and no date set.  If you don’t get a chance to see the episode of this today, check back on Wednesday for a complete update on it.  Here is a break-down of this weeks shows!

Wednesday 27th – Gen RX – This is one every PARENT should watch.  Could your kids be getting high on household products? A 16-year-old boy has abused cough medicine, and a mom whose son died from an overdose of over-the-counter drugs.

Thursday 28th – Love Scam – Dee-Dee thinks her online boyfriend will repay her back all the money she has sent him and will marry her when he returns from Nigeria.  “come on now”.  See this and other women in the same position.

Friday 29th – Wedding Dos and Don’ts – For all you ladies and men out their getting ready to tie the knot.  You might want to watch this one or stay tune for updates.

2006 RYDER CUP

The 2006 Ryder Cup  gets underway on Friday September 22 – 24 in Ireland.  The USA team heads into the event as the underdog.  The Europeans have been playing extremely well lately and are poised to defend their title for a 3rd straight time and 4 out of the last 5 events.  The Americans are well ahead in the overall with a record of 25-5-2.  The Europeans have been dominating the event over the last 10 years.

This years USA team has 3 rookie players that are young and hung.  Tiger, Phil and Jim Furyk will look to lead the team to victory.  Captain Tom Lehman has his work cut out for him trying to find the right combination of teams that can perform. With rookies in the mix any thing can happen. Chris DiMarco showed in 2004 that rookies can get it done under pressure.  USA needs to start off well in the foursomes and fourball formats to have a shot at victory.

The Europeans are loaded with talent across the board.  The team has plenty of experience and is ridding a 2 event win streak.  They feel confident that they will repeat as champs.   The odds makers seem to feel the same way.

Current odds for the event
Team Europe -190
Team USA + 130

Match Format

1. Match PlayAll games are played under Match Play rules, where the result of each game is determined by the number of holes won. The order of play for the first two days is Fourball in the morning and Foursomes in the afternoon. The final day’s play will be in Singles format.

2. Fourball Format (four groups of 2 man teams)

Fourball play is a match in which each member of the two-man teams plays their own ball. Four balls are in play per hole with each of the four players competing. The team whose player has the lowest score on that hole wins the hole. Should players from each team tie for the best score, the hole is halved

3.  Foursomes (four groups of two two – man teams)

Foursomes play is a match where two golfers play together against two other golfers and each team plays one ball. The golfers play alternate shots (player A hits tee shot, player B hits second shot, etc) until the hole is played out. Team members alternate playing the tee shots, with one golfer hitting the tee shot on odd-numbered holes, and the other hitting the tee shot on the even-numbered holes. The team with the better score wins the hole. Should the two teams tie for best score, the hole is halved.

4.   Singles (12 groups of two one – man teams)

Singles is a match in which one player competes against another player. A player wins the match when he is up by more holes than there are holes remaining to play.

5. Parings

Each Team Captain independently submits the order of play for his Team to the appointed tournament official. The lists from each Captain are matched, resulting in the “Pairings”. Please note that the players in pairings can be modified by the Team Captains only if a player is ill or injured. Pairings are subject to change and should not be considered final until play begins for a particular match.

Dancing with the stars

Well MSNBC host, Tucker Carlson, was the first to go from “Dancing With the Stars.” He messed up on one of his steps and that pretty much did it for him. One of the judges was kind of harse in comments , but he had fun and made lots of frineds and I guess all that matters. You Go Tucker! “good sport”
Some say Willa Ford would be in the bottom two, because she is not as reconginzed as other contestants are. Maybe she should change up some things and get an outfit that is more noticable and really get some good moves, I think she will be fine.¼br /> Mario Lopez, now here is a guy that can dance and has the whole package. Remember him from “save by the bell”, those cute dimples were his trade-mark back then, now its those hips. Boy the sure can move!!! They say he had dancing experience but it was hip-hop dancing, but who cares. If you can dance you can dance and what Latin person doesn’t know how to dance. Its in the blood. I vote for Mario to take it all!!!! What about you out there??
Emmitt Smith, great to see a football player be out there and get his grove on. Emmitt shows there is more to a football player just playing football,”great sport by the way”. I don’t think he will win it but I am sure he will have lots of fun doing it. What do you think?
Joe Lawrence, he needs to pick it up a notch if he wants to stay in. You can really see the nervesness in him, but hopefully he will over come all that.¼br /> Harry Hamlin; well lets say he doesn’t dance like his wife “Lisa Rinna” and or has her body either. Hopefully he will gets some moves from his wife.
Carrie Ann, did very well in her dancing last week. Lets see what she has to show us tonight 27th.¼br /> Ashly DelGrosso, does get stiff but some say it just might rule in her favor. We will see!!
Shanna Moakler, I liked her in Meet the Barkers and I like her in dancing with the star’s. She has a great partner a professional dancer. Lets see what she can do tonight
Vivica A. Fox, a favorite of mine in the movies and she also is great in her dancing.
Monique Coleman, I just don’t see her doing it. Still has the little girl school imiage, but who knows. Lets see what she can do.
Great country singer Sara Evans still to early to tell.¼br /> Tune in tonight for all these great dancers and lets see who gets to elimiated tonight. I think its between Jerry Springer and Harry Hamlin to get the boot. Get that pop-corn going and watch out for those all sooooo pretty outfits. Happy Watching!!

The Biggest Looser

The biggest Looser is back for its 3rd season tonight at 8/7c for a 2 hour premier on NBC. They went to 50 States and got 50 Contestants. They have a new trainer for this season “Kim Lyons” and Bob Harper is still there and he is always nice to watch. He has just gives great motivation to the contestants.

Season 2 was a good one, there were lots of emotions going around and negativity but in the end everyone was happy especially the two that fell in love with each other “Suzy & Matt” during the show but didn’t want to say anything until the show was over.

Will there be another love hook-up on Season 3, we just have to tune in and watch. O boy I can’t wait what they have in store for all us viewers this season. They say its going to be a good one. Get that pop-corn ready!!! Darlagp
