(21) Missouri Tigers vs (23) Northwestern Wildcats
Alamo Dome
San Antonio, TX
8:00pm Est. Dec. 29th, 2008
Spread: Missouri -12.5
Total: 66
My Pick: I had such high hopes for the Tigers this year as QB Chase Daniels was a shoe in for Heisman at the beginning of the season, but a few miscues on the way Mizz U finds themselves at 9-4. Despite losing the last 2 games of the season the Tigers are still a premier team. It will be their offense that gets them the win with Daniels completing 70% of his passes and RB Derrick Washington averaging 6.1 yards a carry, if it wasn’t for their defense pissing it down their legs they could have been in a BCS Bowl for sure. The Wildcats been very consistent for the most part this season and it is due to the overall team play as they don’t have anyone starter that you look at and think will be drafted high. QB C.J. Bacher has done what he can, but he has thrown the same amount of TD’s as INT’s so I don’t expect him to be the game saver. RB Tyrell Sutton will most like get the load of the carries if he is healthy as he has not played the few weeks so I don’t expect a miracle out of him either. The spread seems high, but under 2 TD’s is not that much when you consider the offense the Tigers are bringing. Give the points.
