My Pick:  It is a home game for Rice as they attempt their first bowl win in over 50 years.  They will look to QB Chase Clement to lead the potent passing attack made up of WR’s Jarett Dillard and James Casey both of whom averaged over 100 yards receiving per game this year.  They also have a steady hand in RB C.J. Ugokwe should the need for clock control arise.  The Broncos are no slouches on offense either, but they are a bit more balanced between the run and the pass utilyzing RB Brandon West to carry the heavy load when need be.  This is a simple pick for a couple reasons, the Broncos have the 96th ranked pass defense and the Owls rank 5th in passing yards.  It is a home game for Rice and they are riding a 6 game win streak.  Nuff said, give the points.
