My Pick:  Both teams have great defenses ranking 11th and 12th in the nation respectively, but it will be Iowa’s 3 game win streak and upset of Penn State that gives them a bit of a lift.  Their late season surge can be attributed to RB’s Shonn Green’s rushing explosion having rushed for nearly 500 yards in the last 3 games.  He will definitely be the game breaker for the Hawkeyes and his O line, looking as good as they do should gave the Gamecocks a run for their money.  Steve Spurrier’s Gamecocks have struggled as of late and the do not seem to be able to get into a rythem, having lost their final 2 games of the season by a combined 67 points!  Neither team has 8 wins, but the most recent stats point to an Iowa drubbing.  Give the points now, I can see this going to Iowa -6, its a steal at the moment.
