My Pick:  Both teams sputtered a bit down the last stretch of the season and that could spell trouble when you are on a break for so long and desperately trying to stay in rythem for your bowl game matchup.  The Tar Heels have done a 180 from last year reversing their record from 4-8 to 8-4 and it seems that they owe it to their defense who has managed to keep them in tight games and finishing off opponents in the 4th quarter.  Both QB’s Yates and Sexton are healthy, but it won’t matter which one starts as long as they hook up with WR Hakeem Nicks who has over 1000 yards receiving off of 60 receptions, do the math…For the Mountaineers this will be QB Pat White’s last game for West Virginia and you would think he would bring a little extra to the table.  His numbers have sagged a bit from last year, but he will definitely get drafted so he is a quality mobile QB that can make plays happen.  WVU will most likely play clock control with Noel Devine, and then White on the option, but I think they will have a tough time against the Tar Heels front 4 which has remained consistent and caused alot of turnovers.  It is a home game for UNC and with the spread at a Pick’em you have to go with the home team.  Bet the farm on the Tar Heels.
