My Pick:  This will be the first meeting between these 2 teams in 35 years so whoever gets the W will have bragging rights for a long time to come I’m sure.  Minnesota has struggled as of late, losing their last 4 games in a row and with this extra time they have got to figure something out fiast or they are going to get pummled by a more potent Kansas offense.  It will be up to Gopher QB Adam Weber to find a way to win and WR Eric Decker has got to be a part of it as he is averaging 12 yards per reception.  Kansas will look to QB Todd Reesing who finished the season against Missouri with 375 yards passing and 4 TD’s so you know he is hot right now.  The Jayhawks have a running game in Jake Sharp, but he is only averaging 4.7 ypc and has been inconsistent as of late, so it will be the Reesing/Briscoe hookup that the Gophers D needs to key on, if they can shut it down then they may have a chance, if not then all is lost.  Basically, the Gophers won’t be able to stop them, rather they should try to slow them down and keep up on offense, easier said than done.  I don’t think the Gophers are ready yet and they really showed it at the end of the season when they melted down.  Take the Jayhawks, give the points.
