Nebraska Cornhuskers vs Clemson Tigers

Spread: Clemson -2.5
Total: 55.5
My Pick: The Tigers overcame adversity with a head coaching change midway through the season and have bounced back under new coach Dabo Swinney, whose philosophy of conservative chain moving play calling has gotten the Tigers into a Jan. 1st Gator Bowl. Clemson will be splitting the carries between James Davis and CJ Spiller who have combined for over 1300 yards this season with 18 TD’s. Their defense has been playing solid the last stretch of the season and they should provide some discomfort for Joe Ganz who in his last year as a Husker has thrown for over 3300 yards with 23 TD’s and 10 INT’s. If Ganz is feeling the pressure than RB Roy Helu and his 6.7 ypc average should keep the Clemson D busy. The Huskers had a late season surge winning their last 3 games and scoring 141 combined points! They are definitely in the groove, its just their defense that needs to stay focused as they have given up some big plays. I actually had to double check the spread twice to make sure I was reading it correctly because it looks ass backwards to me. Take the points while you can, because that line is moving down!
