My Pick:  This is a classic example of a fairly good passing team with no running game versus a fairly good running team with no passing game.  This will be a rematch between the 2 teams where the Deacons will be looking to avenge a loss earlier in the year to the Midshipmen who basically ran all over them.  I expect Navy to run the same game plan this week when they travel to Washington D.C. for the inaugural EagleBank Bowl.  You can expect RB’s Shun White and Eric Kettani to carry the load for the Midshipmen and play clock control and hope their defense can steps up to the plate and keeps the pressure on Wake.  On the other side of the ball it will be the Riley Skinner show for the Deacons who will depend on WR’s D.J. Boldin and Marshall Williams to spread the defense and make some big plays.   I think the Deacons had a bit of a tougher schedule this year, which is why they are favored, but regardless it will come down to the defenses doing their jobs.  If Wake can shut down the run and force them to pass then it will be a long day for Navy, but if they can reciprocate and force Wake to run then we may be looking at a low scoring stalement in which I think Wake just has more weapons and thus should be able to cover.  Give the points.
