Thanksgiving break on 2009 brings us a great game between Oakland Raiders with a record of 3-7 against Dallas Cowboys with a record of 7-3. This could be the chance Dallas has been waiting for to jumpstart their engine, they have looked a little cold thru the season and they might need this tune up before december, this game is the key for a great post-season.

Oakland Raiders have had a tough season. Now bad news first, DE Richard Seymour left Oakland’s game against Cincinnati with a lower back injury and will not return. Seymour left in the opening quarter Sunday and the team announced at the start of the third quarter that Seymour would not return. The player appears as questionable for this upcoming game, also LB Ricky Brown will be out, good news on DE Greg Ellis who has been upgraded to probable and they do need him. It will bea tough scenario for the Raiders that have been struggling all season long, their road record is not helping either (1-3) so this could be another crushing defeat for all Raiders fans across the nation. Oakland biggest problem is the Offense, just too clumsy. Oakland is only averaging about 15 points per game, and in 5 times the Raiders have scored 10 points, well that is just simply terrible, they will need a well shaped offense to be able to catch Dallas but they don’t have such a thing so may be this will be a one sided beatdown. QB JaMarcus Russell, RB Michael Bush, RB Justin Fargas, TE Zach Miller and WR Louis Murphy will do as much as possible to score but numbers never lie and by the looks of it we could be watching a beatdown like we habven’t seen by Dallas all year long.

Dallas Cowboys have a great record at home (4-1) and I bet they are eager to play Oakland at their new stadium and give them a good beatdown. Last Sunday they were awfully lucky and they scored 1 touchdown to defeat the Redskins by 1 point, that is not the Dallas Cowboys we hoped to see this season. Now QB Tony Romo has been waiting for this game against Oakland to get his team on a good tune up before December gets here and the real deal begins. Dallas is 1st on the NFC East and if they want to keep it like that they need to ensure this one at home. RB Marion Barber and RB Felix Jones will be running against a semi-good defensive line, they could be the missing key in Dallas attack. WR Miles Austin and TE Jason Witten will be in charge of the catching but they need Romo focus and not thinking about the mess he’s in with WR Roy Williams. It seems like Williams has been playing a little scared and the team might be suffering for it, Romo and the rest of the teammates have noticed it and Romo has been at it with Williams. Coach Wade Phillips refered to this situation by saying that Romo and Williams will patch things up and the team will continue to do great and that Williams won’t be benched. Good luck to Dallas and they need to win this one if they want to ensure their place at the playoffs at the end of the season, no time for petty differences.
