Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young isn’t putting up Peyton Manning numbers, but he accomplished something in the past three weeks no Titans quarterback has done since Steve McNair in his MVP season of 2003. In each of his three starts, Young posted a passer rating of more than 90. And while RB Chris Johnson’s 495 rushing yards and six touchdowns the past three weeks have garnered more attention, Young’s improvements are a big reason the Titans have won three straight games. Since taking over for Kerry Collins prior to the Nov. 1 game against the Jaguars, Young has completed 71.0 percent of his passes (44-of-62) for 507 yards. It looks like Young already took what belongs to him and now he counts with RB Chris Johnson and RB LenDale White by grown and WR Kenny Britt and WR Justin Gage, these squad is ready to take the streak to another level, may be a change of QB was all they needed.

Houston Texans are 3rd on the AFC South with an overall record of 5-4 which is not much but they are tied with Jacksonville Jaguars, this game could mean the 2nd place right behind Indianapolis who are still flawless. After getting five consecutive days off, the players return to practice today to begin preparations for the Monday night game against the Titans, whom they defeated 34-31 in Nashville in the second game of the season. Since Gary Kubiak became their coach in 2006, the Texans have been better over the second half of the season than the first half. They’re 5-4 for the first time. They should be headed for a successful stretch drive if they continue a trend that began in Kubiak’s first season. QB Matt Schaub, RB Steve Slaton, RB Ryan Moats, WR Andre Johnson and TE Owen Daniels are more than ready to leave everything on the field next monday, Houston could grab the second place and become a real playoff contender, long way til’ monday.

GAME ODDS

TENNESSEE TITANS 48
HOUSTON TEXANS -4½

THIS GAME COULD BE THE BEST CHANCE HOUSTON HAS FOR A SPOT ON THE PLAYOFFS, IT’S VERY IMPORTANT FOR THEM TO WIN AT HOME AND GET THE CONFERENCE AND DIVISIONAL RECORD POSITIVE, THIS COULD BE THE WILD CARD AS WELL SO MAY BE THIS ONE BRINGS MORE TO THE TABLE THAN MEETS THE EYE. MY PICK WILL BE HOUSTON TEXANS -4½.
