No.1 Florida Gators travel to Georgia to face No.2 Alabama Crimson Tide for the SEC Championship. SEC East Champs meet SEC West Champs, both with identical records (12-0) and looking for a spot on the BCS National title game. Whoever loses will fall out of the race leaving the spot open for No.3 Texas to squeeze themselves in, this is by far the most exciting game of the whole NCAA Football tournament.

Georgia Dome , ATLANTA, GA
No.1 Florida Gators lead the nation in total defense (233.1 yards per game), pass defense (143.2 yards per game) and scoring defense (9.8 points per game) and is second in pass efficiency (88.07 rating) and eighth in rushing (89.9 yards per game). Alabama leads the nation in pass efficiency (85.88), is second in rushing (77.08 ypg) and scoring (10.8 ppg), is third in total defense (233.9 ypg) and fifth in passing (156.8 ypg). Also Florida has given up 11 touchdowns this season, that is mighty impressive. QB Tim Tebow has been named SEC Offensive player of the week and he have had a great season taking his team to a perfect season, he is the soul of the Gators and he will do as much as possible to continue on this path. Backing him up the Gators have RB Jeffery Demps, WR Riley Cooper and TE Aaron Hernandez but noone runs like Tebow and that takes him to totally different level, he is the type of QB that wins championships, period. A very physical game is expected by both parties, Florida will have to run and throw as they have done all season but also defend like they have done all season or better if they want to put this one away.
Alabama Crimson Tide had a very tough game last week against Auburn and they barely won 26-21 and that left a lot of questions and the most important one is Will they be able to defeat No.1 Florida Gators??? The answer is very complicated. Alabama has some important players resting for this game since they were hurt on the last game but it seems like noone wants to miss the SEC Championship game so they are upgrading everyone to probable. QB Greg McElroy has had a good season, not as bright as Tebow’s but their record at the end is exactly the same, same amount of victories that is. RB Michael Ingram has been upgraded to probable and he will be resting a couple of days from his injury on Auburn’s game, also players like RB Trent Richardson and WR Julio Jones will be giving their very best in order to complete their goal. Alabama has only allowed 15 tds all season long which is very impressive as well, their average point scored is 31.7 and average points allowed 20.8 so that means a battle between in my opinion the best offenses on the whole nation. Defenses will shine but offensive lines will carry their teams to either victory or defeat.
GAME ODDS
FLORIDA GATORS -6
ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE
THE SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WILL BE THE MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THE YEAR, LOOKS LIKE AN NCAA SUPERBOWL TO ME. MY PICK WILL BE NO.1 FLORIDA GATORS -6 SINCE TEBOW’S GAME IS TIGHTER THAN MCELROY.
