No.24 South Florida Bulls have been playing good this season, they have accomplished a decent record of 6-2 but their conference record is 2-2 which took them to the 4th place on the Big East, teams like West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati with better records, this game is really important to South Florida if they want to catch up with all these teams. Freshman QB B.J. Daniels with 10 tds and 6 interceptions is the key for the Bulls, he is the future of this team and he will try to bring the heat, he will be helped by RB Moise Plancher, WR Carlton Mitchell (questionable) and WR Dontavia Bogan, all of them ready to give their best to climb up on the BCS ranking and on the Big East Conference. This game could mean a better Conference record and a better position, the defense has to control Rutgers and they need to kill the running game, if they accomplish that nothing will stop the Bulls.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights have had a good season as well. Their record shows that the team coulfd actually defeat ranked teams like the Bulls this week. Their only 2 losses are against Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, first and second spot on the Big East conference as well. Their biggest crime this year has been their record at home, 3-2 is just not good, they need to kill at home and get back to the road with an anvantage. Freshman QB Tom Savage have had an ok year, only 8 tds and 1 interception tells me the guy only throws when it’s necessary but the fact that he has been sacked 17 times also tells me his offensive line is not protecting him in a smart way, they need to protect the QB better if they want to win this conference challenge. Rutgers is big on the running game and to help the cause they will have RB Joe Martinek and RB Jourdan Brooks with 11 tds combined, this number is really putting the heat on, they will run and run and they will control the clock no matter what. By air Savage will have help from WR Tim Brown (named Big East offensive player of the week) and WR Mohamed Sanu, they can also score in many situations but they will see less action on this game , that is a given. The key for Rutgers will be to run and chew the clock, they can control the game momentum and take advantage of the situation, this is a great chance for Rutgers to win another Conference Challenge.
