Denver Broncos a real surprise this season since they are still undefeated travel to Qualcomm Stadium to play the San Diego Chargers with a disapponting record of 2-2. Broncos holding a surprising record of 5-0 defeating teams like the Cowboys and the Patriots is making me think that they were underestimated this year, this team can make it to the playoffs…

Denver Broncos have won every single game so far (5-0) and they have played flawless, they had the chance to win and they took it, just like last sunday when they beat the Patriots in OT with a fieldgoal, noone thought they would be matching so good against the so called powerful teams but they are and in a great way. QB Kyle Orton is the leader of the offense and his numbers are not that impressive but solid enough to win. Orton has 7 tds and only 1 interception with a completion rate of 63%, looks like he needs work but he will do just fine for now. On the ground making the big difference the Broncos have RB Knowshon Moreno and RB Correll Buckhalter who could be back on Monday to play his guts out against the Chargers. By air helping Orton look good Broncos have WR Brandon Marshall and WR Jabar Gaffney. TE Tony Scheffler had to leave the Pats game with a back injury but he was able to come back so he will be included in the roster on monday. The key for the Broncos success has been QB Kyle Orton without a doubt, if they guard him well he will do his thing and he will lead his Broncos to another victory.

San Diego Chargers with an awful record of 2-2 plays at home has been very quiet this year about the running game, it seems like RB LaDainian Tomlinson is not having a good year, he has been controlled and this is a match up in which the Chargers will need from him more than ever. QB Philip Rivers has been playing ok, just ok and that is not good enough and the Chargers have suffered for it. Helping him by air the Chargers have WR Vincent Jackson and TE Antonio Gates, since the running game has been far from good then these guys will have to double their efforts to put points on the board. Adding to all these situations the GM A.J. Smith said that the San Diego Chargers are soft, now this is some serious business and Smith should be careful but also he has to be heard, Chargers are not playing to their potential so this is a desperate cry from upper management to make the team understand, although not the right one. OLB Shawne Merriman wasn’t pleased with these comments so on Monday he will try as well as the rest of the team to make AJ Smith go back on those words.
