NFL Sunday Night Football Game will be between Chicago Bears with a record of 3-1 and running second in the NFC North against Atlanta Falcons with the same record 3-1 and running second on the NFC South. This game brings an added pressure of the Conference challenge, Bears need this one a little more than the Falcons, let’s see if Cutler and his boys can make it happen …

Chicago Bears specialty has recently been the defense, although this year they are not up to the task, they are not playing to their full potential on defense and they will need this quality more than ever facing the Falcons. The offense commanded by QB Jay Cutler hasn’t been that bad but it needs work. Cutler has scored 8 tds and 5 interceptions with 8 sacks, that is not good, his completion rate is at 64.3% which is not bad but it can improve it he keeps the ball to his team. Helping by ground the bears have RB Matt Forte (back from that knee injury) and RB Garrett Wolfe, by air WR Earl Bennett and WR Johnny Knox the best receiver the Bears have available. Adding more to it The Bears are expecting this rematch, last year was terrible for the Bears so they will try to make it up to their fans, good luck to them.

Atlanta Falcons are having a great season and now at home they get to play against the Bears which didn’t do too good last year at Georgia Dome. QB Matt Ryan is having a modest year, 7 tds, 2 interceptions and 2 sacks which is as I said modest, doesn’t make that many mistakes and that is always important. Another player having a great season is TE Tony Gonzalez averaging 11.3 yards which is modest but really good for this modest team. Offensively speaking Falcons have better numbers than the Bears, the difference is not that big but numbers don’t lie. Defensively Atlanta is weaker so they will need to pay attention on the field.
