Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings are much improved. All four games went down to the wire and were decided by five points or less. They are now 2-2 and could have easily been 4-0. The Vikings will face a Lions team with new offensive coordinator Mike Martz is putting up some points and moving the ball consistently. They are much better than the 0-4 record they currently have.
With the Lions moving the ball well and the Vikings playing good defense something has to give. Plan on an exciting game. The line opened at Vikings -6.5. Click here for current odds
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
The Bucs are coming off a bye week and will start rookie quarterback Bruce Gradkowski in place of the injured Chris Simms. The Bucs offense will need to make adjustments to by time for they young quarterback time to throw and reach some sort of comfort zone. Blocking schemes will need to be adjusted to protect for a right-handed quarterback.
With the Bucs offensive line playing poorly it will be tough task for them to move the ball.
The Saints are coming off a tough loss at Carolina in Week 4. Deuce McAllister and Reggie have been better than expected and it sure looks like the Saints are for real.

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are undefeated and will host the Titans team who hasn’t won in Indianapolis since 2002.
Peyton Manning’s play in the 4th quarter has been the key to their success. Indianapolis had to play well in the 4th quarter or games to win games. Last Sunday’s 90-second, nine-play TD drive with 50 seconds left gave the Colts a 31-28 victory over the Jets. They are not as good as there were last year but they are still undefeated.
The Vince Young era is underway. The Titans are still searching for their first win. It’s obvious that the Titans organization and Coach Jeff Fisher believes the future is now. The Tennessee defense will need to step up and try to containing the Colts offense. They have no shot at a shoot out. Young vs. Manning is a miss-match.¼br /> The line opened at Indy -18.5 and is moving up. Click here for current odds
Washington Redskins at New York Giants
This battle for the NFC East Cellar? Believe it. ¼br /> The Redskins are 0-2 in the division this early in the season and another loss to a division foe could be devastating.
The Giants defense has been terrible and has been forcing the offense into shoot outs. They can’t keep that up if they plan on seeing post season play. One of these teams needs to set up or plan on watching post season play from home again.
The line opened at Giants -4 and should go down. Click here for current odds
New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars
Former Marshall U Quarterbacks battle in Jacksonville. Chad Pennington vs. Byron Leftwich should be one heck of a showdown.
Jacksonville has been a Defensive-minded team behind Coach Jack Del Rio. With an injury to Greg Jones in training camp left a hole at RB. The Jags are now chucking the ball downfield like the Indy Colts lastly and have been getting wins. Leftwich has developed into quite a gamer.
The Jets gave the Colts all they could handle last week and had the lead with 50 seconds left in the game till Manning pulled out a great game winning drive. Pennington’s shoulder seems fine and play this season has been stellar. Plan on seeing a shootout.
The line opened at Jacksonville -7 and should go down. Click here for current odds
Kansas City Chiefs at Arizona Cardinals
The Matt Leinart Era in Arizona should begin this week. Kurt Warner has a good first week and has been terrible since. The future is now. This team won’t make the playoffs and may as well give the rookie a chance to grow. The Cardinals have the weapons to be one of the NFL’s top offenses and with Leinart at helm they should be fine. Edge should take some pressure off.
The Chiefs starting QB Trent Green is still recovering from a severe concussion. Backup Damon Huard has been getting it done. He played great last week and should do well against a terrible Arizona Defense. This game should be a track meet. All offense and no Defense.
The line opened at Chiefs -3 and should go up. Click here for current odds
Pittsburgh Steelers at San Diego Chargers
Some big questions are sure to be answered Sunday night in San Diego. Philip Rivers played well in Baltimore and can play against an elite defense. Ben Roethlisberger hasn’t been good so far this year and should bounce back after a bye week and toss a TD pass or 2.
The Steelers have gotten of to a lackluster start in defending their Super Bowl title. The offense has committed eight turnovers in three games, and there have been some critical dropped passes on third down. The bye week was just what the doctor ordered. Look for the Steelers to bounce back.
San Diego has looked powerful on both sides of the ball. They fell short in Baltimore but should feel good about themselves. They were able to move the ball at will against an elite defense.
San Diego must give Rivers freedom to make plays down to field if they plan on getting a win against Pittsburgh. Plan on a low scoring game.
The line opened at Chargers -3 and should go up. Click here for current odds
Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos
The Broncos got a big win over New England before heading into the bye week. Jake Plummer came through with big plays and avoided being benched in favor of rookie Jay Cutler. The Broncos will look to keep it going against the NFL’s top-rated defense.
The Ravens beat the Chargers last week and helped the Broncos move up the division standings. The Ravens are ridding the arm of new quarterback Steve McNair. The Ravens, with victories already over the Raiders and Chargers, look to continue their sweep through the AFC West and stake their claim as a Super Bowl contender. Plan on a low scoring game.
