VS.
NCAA Week 6 Thursday Night Football brings a Big 12 North Division Special, No.21 Nebraska Cornhuskers with a record of 3-1 playing at Columbia to face No.24 Missouri Tigers with a record of 4-0. Since Mizz is undefeated this will be a very challenging test for the Cornhuskers, if they want to be part of the bowl season they will need to put this one away for sure.

No.21 Nebraska Cornhuskers belong to the same division (Big 12 North) as Missouri so they should know by heart what they will be bringing this next Thursday. This will be the first conference challenge for Nebraska and if they want to be on top they need to secure this one although they are not at home and that presents a problem. Their passing will be lead by QB Zac Lee that had a Thumb injury that might keep him under supervision but so far he has thrown 7 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, let’s see if his thumb can heal totally for this upcoming match. RB Roy Helu Jr. brings heat to the ground, he has an average of 6.4 yards per carry and he has scored 5 touchdowns and no fumbles. Another great player is TE Mike McNeill who has been more than helpful and will be another alternative by air. The offense main concern will be to keep QB Zac Lee healthy enough to at least complete the average 39.3 points per game, with the defense only allowing 32.3 which is quite a lot for a team nationally ranked so they need the offensive line to step up. The Key of the game for Nebraska will be to score as many points as possible and to keep the QB in shape to finish the game strong.
No.24 Missouri Tigers also will be playing their first conference challenge and since they are at home and undefeated as well they will be a lot of pressure, no doubt about that. The team’s solid combination between offense and defense has been the key for the moment’s success. They team is averaging 36.8 points per game and only allowing 21.3 points so by numbers their are a more balanced team than Nebraska. The QB Blaine Gabbert has been extraordinary scoring 11 touchdowns and he leads the Big 12 Conference in passing efficiency and ranks 9th in the nation in the same category, his numbers have been more than impressive, no interceptions so far and convertion rate of 66.4%, that will help Missouri to be confident for thursday. Other players helping on the field are RB Derrick Washington with 2 tds, RB Kendial Lawrence with no tds so far, WR Danario Alexander who is on fire and gave us quite a show against Nevada last week catching 9 passes for 170 yards and WR Jared Perry who also played great against Nevada. All these players are on fire so I find hard to believe that Nebraska can do anything against these TIGERS.
GAME ODDS
NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS -2½
MISSOURI TIGERS
THE TIGERS HAVEN’T LOST A GAME SO FAR AND I DON’T SEE HOW NEBRASKA WILL BE ABLE TO WIN ON THE ROAD SINCE THEY LOST ALREADY AGAINST VIRGINIA TECH ON THE ROAD, THIS MIGHT BE THE PERFECT SCENARIO FOR MISSOURI TO CLIMB ON TOP OF THE BIG 12 NORTH, AND WITH A LITTLE LUCK HEAD TO THE BOWL SEASON AS ONE OF THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY. THE PICK IS MISSOURI TIGERS +2½ AT HOME.

Nebraska’s defense is no 1 in scoring defense are those numbers right?
Nebraska is ranked 1st in the nation in scoring defense. Only allowing 7.0 points a game. We have only had 3 touchdowns score on us all season. Don’t post incorrect statistics because it discredits anything worthwhile that you say. The time you spent typing your giant paragraph is now just wasted time. Good work.
you might want to know what you are talking about first before writing and you should proofread your paragraphs
I’m not sure where you got these stats from. Nebraska allows and average of 7 points per game. Wrong stats make your pick non-valid. Do some better research before posting a pick.
