San Diego Chargers suffered a big loss against Miami Dolphins when LB Shawne Merriman with a groin injury that got a lot more complicated thru that game. Merriman is questionable for the upcoming Sunday night clash against the Steelers and he will be missed greatly if he doesn’t get back for this one, San Diego needs all the help they can get. but not all is bad news for the Chargers, on the probable list we have S Eric Weddle and LB Kevin Burnett coming back and they sure help the chargers cause. The biggest hole on the Chargers offense is RB LaDainian Tomlinson in his 3rd straight week out of the squad with an injury on his ankle. he represents half of the Chargers offensive power and in this game he will be missed like no other player. QB Phillip Rivers has been playing really good and he will be the key to the Chargers success, he has been playing very good and he will be the one to watch on Sunday night.

Pittsburgh Steelers are living a nightmare, the reigning champs are in a negative record and they need this game to get back in shape, the conference clash makes it a lot more appealing to them, this is what they have been waiting for, a real challenge and a great way to get back to even numbers. QB Ben Roethlisberger is heart-broken after losing two games in a row by 3 points, he has been playing in a great way and his numbers are not as incredible as last years’ but he has what it takes to take his team to the next phase but he can’t seem to close the deal fast enough, they need to polish some aspects of the offense before they move to bigger and better things. The injuries are not a factor for this upcoming game, most of the starters are good to go and they will be forced to get it done, Ben feels this is the game they will win to balance the offense with the defense. The key factor will be a shaped offense with a balanced defense, they need to do it now before it’s too late, this will be a good one for the Steelers.
